Jenks senior running back and Oklahoma State signee KD Jones KD Jones 6'0" | 170 lbs | RB Jenks | 2026 State OK is our 2025 Prep Redzone Oklahoma Player Of The Year. After running for over 2,000 yards and 41 touchdowns on 265 carries while also catching 38 passes for over 400 yards and five touchdowns, it was a no brainer. Jones put up some of the best numbers in the state against the state's best competition, week in and week out. He performed at an incredibly high level all season and helped guide the Trojans to the 6A-1 semifinals. It was fairly clear that Jones was the best player in Oklahoma for the 2025 football season.

Jones has had a very storied high school career and he finished it off with a bang in 2025. At the start of his senior season, Jones was behind quite a few names on Jenks' all time rushing yards list. He was going to need the best season of his career if he was going to break those records. Looking back now, maybe we shouldn't have even questioned it. Jones completely rewrote the Jenks record book in every single way. His regular season performance against Mustang, where he ran over 40 times for over 400 yards and eight touchdowns is one that Jenks fans will remember for a long time.

Later in the season, Jones would become the school's all time leading rusher. And we've mentioned this a few times but it deserves to be mentioned again here. He rewrote the Jenks rushing records in just three seasons. This is after he ran for north of 1,000 yards as a freshman at Broken Arrow in 2022. And it's a full circle moment for us at Prep Redzone Oklahoma. 2022 was the first season we started recognizing a Freshman Of The Year. Jones was the first recipient of that honor. Fast forward to today and he's our overall player of the year.

Prep Redzone Oklahoma launched prior to the 2020 season and Jones is the sixth recipient of this award. He's the first player from Jenks to earn the honor and he's the fourth running back in the past six seasons to receive it.
