2027 defensive lineman Kaiden Ford Kaiden Ford 6'0" | 301 lbs | DL/OL Fort Gibson | 2027 State OK is a player that we’ve written about since his freshman season at Hilldale. Last year, he moved over to Fort Gibson and immediately became a force on the Tiger defensive line. Now, it helps that he’s going against guys like Hackett and the rest of the Fort Gibson offensive line in practice. But we’ve said this countless times when it comes to Ford, he’s an absolute monster on the line of scrimmage. Throw on the film or watch him in person and you see a very technical defensive lineman that can beat his opponent in a number of ways. Every time we’ve watched Ford in person, he always finds a way to stand out in a major way.

Hilldale defensive lineman Kaiden Ford Kaiden Ford 6'0" | 301 lbs | DL/OL Fort Gibson | 2027 State OK doesn’t have some of the measurables that the other guys on this breakdown have but he’s definitely a name you need to know about moving forward. We’ve had the benefit of having Ford camp with us multiple times over the last 18 months and each time, he’s one of the very best at his position. We got another chance to see him in person, this time with the pads on, at a team camp last May and once again, he was one of the best guys at his position. He can’t just overpower guys with his size but he makes up for it with brute strength and technique. He has a deep bag of moves to get through or by an opposing offensive lineman. Ford might not be getting as much attention as some of the elite guys but he shouldn’t be flying under the radar. He’s an absolute monster.

Offensive and defensive lineman Kaiden Ford Kaiden Ford 6'0" | 301 lbs | DL/OL Fort Gibson | 2027 State OK had a very successful freshman season for the Hornets. Ford would then get on our radar during the offseason at one of our camps. He was a breakout star during our camp in January and we’ve become bigger fans of his game ever since. Ford is an absolute monster on the line of scrimmage and we specifically like what he does on the defensive line. He doesn’t have the prototypical size for a defensive tackle or nose guard but it also rarely matters. His skillset is very advanced and he has a deep bag of tricks to beat his opponents. And what’s scary is he’ll just be a sophomore this fall so he has three more years to get better. 

We’ll start this with stating again how we love the 2027 defensive line group already. It is deep and it is very talented. When you compare him to some of the other guys at the position in the class, he doesn’t have that prototypical size that others have. But when you watch him go to work in person or on film, the skill set is off the charts. From strictly a skills and moves standpoint, Ford is already one of the best guys in the class. He’ll have to overcome questions about his size for the defensive tackle position but he is outstanding.
