The Prep Redzone Exposure Series made the annual stop in Oklahoma on Sunday. We had some outstanding talent from all over the state in attendance and from some of the surrounding states. We will have a TON of breakdowns on Prep Redzone Oklahoma following the event and a lot of video on our Prep Redzone Oklahoma YouTube Channel this week as well. In this breakdown, we're putting the spotlight on the seven players selected as the MVP for their position group on Sunday afternoon in Broken Arrow!

[player_tooltip player_id='474870' first='Brock' last='Heilmann'] - 2027 Running Back - Coweta

Coweta 2027 running back [player_tooltip player_id='474870' first='Brock' last='Heilmann'] is not a stranger to performing well at Prep Redzone events. It also feels like he should be in college at this point. Heilmann has been starting for Coweta since his freshman year and he's been performing well at our various camps for the last three years. On Sunday, Heilmann was the easy pick for MVP at the running back position and he was honestly one of the top overall players in attendance. First off, we got to watch Heilmann up close and he looks like he's been living in the weight room for the last six months. Heilmann also showcased a sudden burst and overall acceleration that was a big problem for linebackers trying to find a way to get their hands on him. It was a camp setting with no pads or helmet but you could tell during certain reps Heilmann was looking to be physical. He'll be one of the most experienced running backs in Oklahoma this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1670662' first='Dane' last='Jensen'] - 2027 Linebacker - Pawhuska

Pawhuska 2027 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1670662' first='Dane' last='Jensen'] got on our radar around this time last year at our spring camp. He performed well that day and then came back this year and earned LB MVP honors. Jensen also spent some time on offense, working as a tight end and made plenty of plays on offense during 1 on 1's. And quite frankly, he could have spent the majority of his time on offense because he is an incredibly polished linebacker and it was clear pretty early on that he was one of the better defenders in attendance on Sunday. Jensen started the day strong, showcasing his overall explosiveness with some outstanding numbers in the broad jump. When we caught Jensen in person last fall, he was an absolute animal on the field and just has a nose for the football. It was a solid weekend overall for the Pawhuska product after he performed well at the UCO camp on Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1538407' first='Denymn' last='Friday'] - 2027 Quarterback - Choctaw

Choctaw 2027 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1538407' first='Denymn' last='Friday'] took home MVP honors from a talented group of signal callers. Friday is another Oklahoma prospect that has performed well at our camps in the past. He's definitely shown growth over the last year and we're looking forward to seeing him in action this spring with the Yellowjackets. Choctaw is looking for a new quarterback and Friday will be in the race for that position when they put the pads on in a few weeks. On Sunday in particular, Friday threw the ball with a lot of confidence and he impressed the coaches that were in attendance. The confidence that he played with throughout the afternoon in Broken Arrow was the main thing that stood out to me. The arm talent is there and has been for a while now. But he's definitely starting to put everything else together to become more of a complete quarterback prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='933579' first='Kaiden' last='Ford'] - 2027 Defensive Lineman - Fort Gibson

And still. For the second straight camp this year, Fort Gibson 2027 defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='933579' first='Kaiden' last='Ford'] earned MVP honors for his position group. Ford is another Oklahoma prospect that is getting ready for his senior year and has been coming to our showcase camps for several years now. Earlier in his career, you could see that there were signs that he would be an absolute monster on the line of scrimmage. Fast forward to this weekend and Ford is a polished technician on the line of scrimmage. After talking to Ford following the camp, he defends himself when people question his size. He said the same thing we've been saying for the last two years. Throw on the tape. Watch him go to work in person. You see a defensive lineman that can beat his opponent in a variety of ways and any questions about his size never even come into play. It was another dominant performance from him Sunday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1680084' first='Makauri' last='Johnson'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Carl Albert

And still. Again. Carl Albert 2027 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1680084' first='Makauri' last='Johnson'] joined Ford as back to back MVP selections after he earned WR MVP honors for the second time this year. Johnson was arguably the most dominant prospect on the field at our camp back in February. What's impressive about his performance on Sunday was the fact that Johnson was not at 100 percent and he still found a way to impress the coaches in attendance and go to work in all the drills and 1 on 1 competitions. With spring ball right around the corner, we're looking forward to seeing how the momentum starts to pick up for Johnson because he checks a lot of boxes for the next level. And it was during spring ball last year that we first watched Johnson in person and thought that he could be the next one up for the Titans. We're just a few weeks away from his next opportunity to prove that he is that guy.

[player_tooltip player_id='2136358' first='Raiden' last='Woodson'] - 2028 Defensive Back - Deer Creek

Deer Creek 2028 defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='2136358' first='Raiden' last='Woodson'] was a new name for us to take a look at this weekend. We didn't know Woodson coming into the camp on Sunday but that quickly changed. Woodson was one of the top athletes in attendance and he performed incredibly well at defensive back. He earned MVP honors for his work on defense and he was making play after play during the 1 on 1 portion of camp. It didn't matter who Woodson was matched up with at wide receiver, he had the ability to stay with just about everyone on the field. Woodson is a player that we'll be watching much closer when the pads come on this spring and into the fall. His older brother is a basketball signee with New Mexico State so it's clear that there is plenty of athleticism going through his DNA. He was the breakout star of our camp. He might have flown under the radar prior to the camp but that's not the case anymore.

[player_tooltip player_id='1683118' first='Ty' last='Gaither'] - 2027 Offensive Lineman - Hilldale

We were fired up to see that Hilldale 2027 offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1683118' first='Ty' last='Gaither'] was going to be in attendance on Sunday in Broken Arrow. We first watched Gaither in person last spring and thought that there was a high ceiling for him moving forward on the offensive line. On Sunday, we got a chance to watch him go to work as a tackle and he performed incredibly well from start to finish. The overall strength he showcased was a problem for opposing defensive linemen. In situations where Gaither got his hands on the opponent, that opponent wasn't going anywhere. It was a really strong performance from start to finish and there's a lot to like about his overall game moving forward. Gaither is, in our opinion, still a hidden gem in the state's 2027 class and specifically on the line of scrimmage. His best football continues to be in front of him and it'd be smart to buy stock now.
