In the month of June, we're updating all of our prospect rankings on Prep Redzone Oklahoma. We've seen a ton of football this offseason from the 7v7 circuit to camps to most recently with team camps. We kicked off our month of ranking updates last week with a look at the 2027 class as they head into their sophomore seasons this fall. This week, it's time to look at the 2026 class. On Monday, our 2026 rankings were updated to include the Top 125 players in the upcoming junior class. You can check out the updated rankings right here. In this post, we're putting the spotlight on the running back position. These five are some of the top running backs in Oklahoma's 2026 class. Valliant running back [player_tooltip player_id='587265' first='Kenny' last='Golston'] was featured earlier this week. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma every Monday this month for another ranking update!

Owasso running back [player_tooltip player_id='1045556' first='Jayson' last='Moll'] was a breakout player for the Rams last season as their leading rusher. He would finish his sophomore season with nearly 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns on the season. And we think that he is primed for a monster junior season. First off, he has another year under his belt so he's going to be more comfortable in the Owasso backfield. Combine that with the Rams having a young quarterback and a very talented offensive line and you have a recipe for Moll to see his production feature a serious spike. And Moll tore it up at our camp earlier this year and is an absolute playmaker when he has the football and gets into the open field.

Newcastle running back [player_tooltip player_id='449184' first='TJ' last='Bradford'] has been on our radar since his freshman season. Bradford then elevated his game to new heights last season and he's so important to what the Racers do on both sides of the ball. Bradford is also a standout on the defensive side of the ball as a defensive back. The Newcastle 2026 standout is an all around playmaker and we are fired up to see what he does this season. He's in a similar position to Moll at Owasso. The Racers have to work in a new quarterback to their offense and Bradford and the running game could be very important to their success this season. Bradford is ready for the challenge of Newcastle moving up to Class 5A this season.

There is a lot of player movement in Oklahoma now and one of the more underrated moves this offseason was running back [player_tooltip player_id='402380' first='Lemar' last='Davis'] going to Deer Creek. He is going to be an outstanding addition to a Deer Creek offense that could be one of the top units during their first season in Class 6A-1. Davis enjoyed a breakout sophomore season last fall with Millwood and running back was an area where the Antlers needed a new player to step up after graduating their starter from last season. And Davis was electric with the football in his hands last season and that's what we saw when we saw him this spring at a team camp. He'll provide the Antlers a new dimension to the offense.

There are always players that we're excited to see each season after they had the previous year cut short, due to injury. Victory Christian running back [player_tooltip player_id='402373' first='Dallas' last='Dyer'] is one of those players. Dyer was having an outstanding sophomore season in his first year with Victory Christian. He was a complete playmaker in the Conqueror offense but he had his sophomore season end abruptly during the regular season. We caught him in action last month at a team camp and he looks like he's back to 100 percent. And the Conquerors will need him to be as the offense looks different with a new quarterback under center. Dyer is definitely hungry to make up for lost time this fall.

Union running back [player_tooltip player_id='858876' first='Tayveon' last='Parry'] is one of several running backs to keep an eye on for the Redhawks this season. For the second straight year, Parry really impressed us when we watched him in person at team camp. He tore it up last year and then did it again just a few weeks ago. Now, he's looking to carry that momentum into his junior season. But he's going to have company in the backfield. Union has a very impressive running back depth chart so when Parry gets his opportunities, he's going to look to make the most of them. Parry also stood out on defense last month as well so don't be surprised if he ends up getting on the field this fall on both sides of the ball.
