is on our short list of players that we’re looking forward to seeing back on the field in 2024. Dyer got out to a hot start in the Victory Christian offense last season. He was putting up some serious numbers, not only as a running back but as a returner, on defense and as a receiver out of the backfield. But Dyer would have an injury-shortened season and he’s going to be one of the players to watch this season when it comes to the “comeback athletes” following injury-plagued seasons. As we mentioned earlier in the preview, a lot of attention will be on the new quarterback but whoever it is will have easier job with Dyer in the backfield.

is one of those players. Dyer was having an outstanding sophomore season in his first year with Victory Christian. He was a complete playmaker in the Conqueror offense but he had his sophomore season end abruptly during the regular season. We caught him in action last month at a team camp and he looks like he’s back to 100 percent. And the Conquerors will need him to be as the offense looks different with a new quarterback under center. Dyer is definitely hungry to make up for lost time this fall.

is a story of “what could have been” when it comes to the 2023 season. Dyer was absolutely electric when he was healthy and on the field. He impacted the running game, the passing game and returned kicks. Whenever he had the ball in his hands, he had the potential to take it to the house and this was a very explosive Victory Christian offense. Now, Dyer is nearly 100 percent and ready to make up for that lost time last fall. After seeing very limited playing time as a freshman at Broken Arrow, Dyer moved over to Victory Christian and became the go-to weapon on the offensive side of the ball. We’re looking forward to seeing what Dyer is able to do this fall when he’s healthy and ready to run.

was the breakout star in Class 2A. He had a fantastic start to the season with back to back 100+ yard games to start the season. After moving from Broken Arrow this offseason, Dyer gave the Conquerors an immediate impact player on the offensive side of the ball. We really like the production they have on the offensive side of the ball and Dyer is going to be a player to watch moving forward. Dyer is looking to build on his hot start to this season.

has certainly grabbed headlines already this season with fantastic play on the offensive side of the ball. Dyer had a fast start to the season as the Conquerors rolled in their first two games. They tripped up to Shiloh Christian in week two and Dyer was hurt in that game. He missed the following game with Okmulgee and then returned with a vengeance in week five against Beggs. The Conquerors got a big district win over the Demons as Dyer ran for well over 150 yards in the win and was also a target in the passing game. Last year, Dyer was a freshman at Broken Arrow and saw limited playing time on the varsity level. But he moved to Victory Christian this offseason and from the opening game, it appeared that he was going to be an instant impact player for Victory Christian this season. Just like with Dillard at Lincoln Christian, Dyer is going to jump in the 2026 prospect rankings as one of the top newcomers in the class.

was a player that we were excited to see this season after a really strong offseason. Dyer was at Broken Arrow last fall and looked to be an instant impact player in the Victory offense. It was a good start for the Victory sophomore. He finished with nearly 200 yards and a touchdown on just 13 carries. All in all, he had nearly 250 all purpose yards between rushing, receiving and he helped out in the return game. Dyer was a player that we thought could be a breakout player this fall and it appears that he’s well on his way.

at the running back position. Dyer was a freshman at Broken Arrow last season and would find a way on to the field in limited situations. BA was loaded at running back last year so Dyer getting on the field is impressive on its own. Now, Dyer appears to be someone that Victory Christian can utilize on the offensive side of the ball as they look to replace their star running back from a year ago. While Hamilton has the ability to beat defenses with his legs, having a steady presence at the running back position will be helpful. We’ve gotten a chance to see Dyer in person a few times but it was in a 7v7 setting. But based on fall camp, Dyer is primed for a breakout year.
