The biggest recruiting report since I began this series 9 weeks ago upon my return to PrepRedzone and there has not been a report with more plays in the mix than this one. This week we feature THREE new commitments and one impressive athlete “doubling down” on a previous commitment will cool new details. Additionally, 12 prospects who added offers this week.
Elijah Kimble Elijah Kimble 5’10” | 195 lbs | RB Canisius | 2027 NY , who undoubtedly is the best freshman in New York and will be atop the 2027 rankings when they are updated in the coming months picked up yet another division one offer this time from Toledo who has been one of the top MAC teams over the past couple of seasons.
Denzil Williams picked up yet another division one offer this time from Byrant and now is pushing up the list of some of the most offered New York prospects, Williams is a very athletic multi-sport athlete who is a highly sought after prospect by Division 1 schools in the northeast.
Highlights
Miron Gurman Miron Gurman 6’6″ | 255 lbs | DL Spencerport | 2025 State NY picked up his 3rd division one offer and 2nd MAC offer from Toledo. Gurman, a massive OL/TE/DE prospect could play multiple positions at the next level and continues to be an interesting prospect in Rochester.
Highlights
Xavier Ali Xavier Ali 6’3″ | 245 lbs | DL Walt-Whitman | 2025 State NY out of Long Island is one of the top recruited prospects from the Island and the defensive end picked up what I believe is his first division one offer from Maine. Ali will continue to be a name to watch through spring coaches travel and summer camps as a prospect who will continue to impress division one schools in the northeast
Highlights
Xavier Watson Xavier Watson 6’4″ | 210 lbs | WR Waverly | 2025 NY continues to be one of the most recruited offensive weapons in the state and Watson picked up yet another division one offer from Colgate nearly every time we post another recruiting update with Watson included he picks up another offer and ends up in nearly all these reports at this point. Watson has a good mix of FBS and FCS offers and I think will continue to grow as a prospect.
Highlights
Ethan Whitehead Ethan Whitehead 6’4″ | 270 lbs | OL Archbishop Stepinac | 2025 NY an offensive line prospect out of Archbishop Stepinac picked up his first offer from Salt River Junior College out in Arizona. Whitehead is a very intriguing prospect who showcases some impressive positional versatility and continues to take visits to FCS and Division 3 schools in the area and will be a player who can earn some more opportunities with a strong senior campaign.
Highlights
Khalil Cox Khalil Cox 6’9″ | 365 lbs | DL CBA-Syracuse | 2026 NY who just picked up his first division one offer from the hometown division one team Syracuse took a visit to Rutgers and picked up his second offer when he was there. Cox is one of the biggest OL prospects in the state and his size and strength are showcased in his film, some of the best sophomore offensive line film in the state.

Dembele just picked up another division one offer from Bryant.
Highlights
Messiah Hampton Messiah Hampton 6’1″ | 170 lbs | WR Monroe | 2026 State NY , one of the best players in Rochester and a top 2026 prospect has some of the most impressive film of any WR in the state. Darien Williams Darien Williams 6’0″ | 165 lbs | ATH CBA-Syracuse | 2025 State NY who recently committed to Syracuse continues to be one of there only recent commits who continues to attract other schools as he was in last week’s report with a Big 10 offer and this week picked up an offer from SEC school Vanderbilt. Williams impressive performance on the track is a big reason schools are coming from out of their way to look into an already-committed Williams.
Highlights
Commitments
Joseph Joseph NY Filardi was already committed to Syracuse for Lacrosse but after a recent visit truly doubled down on his commitment and will now be a dual-sport athlete at the ACC school where he will play quarterback for the football team in addition to what he was already planning on playing in Lacrosse for the Orange. Filardi is one of the most talented football players in the state but with his “double commitment” showcases he could be one of the best multi-sport athletes in the entire state.
Highlights
Daunte Bacheyie Daunte Bacheyie 6’5″ | 205 lbs | WR CBA-Syracuse | 2025 State NY becomes the third CBA-Syracuse player to commit to the hometown Syracuse and the 4th Syracuse native a part of their recruiting class. Bacheyie a talented WR prospect has a huge frame at 6’4 and has speed that is evident on tape to be a dynamic player who can stretch the field. With Bacheyie’s frame, there is some potential for him to play a Hybrid TE/WR type of position at the next level.

Kessner who has the size to be a true TE also displays the athleticism and playmaking ability to be a 3-down player who has a chance to be a quality TE prospect in the IVY league.
