Williams out of CBA-Syracuse has primarily only played WR in High School ball but is listed as an ATH here because he is being recruited as a defensive back at the next level as well.

Williams is one of if not the fastest football player in New York and his track performance this spring showcases his speed as he ran a 10.6 100m and had multiple performances sub 10.9 this spring. Williams is a threat with the ball in his hands but what makes him such a coveted recruit is his overall athleticism and how it clearly stands out compared to other players in New York.

Williams impressive performance on the track is a big reason schools are coming from out of their way to look into an already-committed Williams.

Darien Williams Darien Williams 6'0" | 165 lbs | ATH CBA-Syracuse | 2025 State NY jus received some local love as he picked up an offer from Syracuse. Williams already held offers from some of the northeasts top programs at the P4 and G5 level including Penn State. His entire list consists of Penn State, Syracuse, Boston College, Pittsburgh, UConn, Temple, and UMass.

Williams is a dual sport athlete that runs track and has some notable times of 10.8 100m and 21.9 200m last spring. The first team all-state selection already has the accolades and now the offers are rolling in.

Darien Williams Darien Williams 6'0" | 165 lbs | ATH CBA-Syracuse | 2025 State NY has struggled to make a huge difference in the stat book because of upperclassman Syair Torrence Syair Torrence 5'11" | 195 lbs | ATH Bay Shore | 2024 State NY , Amarri Pitts Amarri Pitts 6'3" | 195 lbs | ATH East Syracuse-Minoa | 2023 State NY , James Bell, and Jason Brunson. However, when Williams has gotten opportunities he has capitalized. Really solid speed and ability after the catch Williams is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. Most of Williams opportunities have come on short passes and screen plays where he has not been able to showcase any plus route running down the field. With a few of the upperclassman listed above graduating expect Williams to get a ton of opportunities next season. Williams could make a play for being the best playmaker in the class of 2025.
