We wrap up our PRZ WI Combine coverage with a look at the deep and talented WR and TE positions. It was a diverse group showcasing size, speed, big catch radiuses, and body control that opened up separation for QBs to target. These kids proved they could get open in varieties of ways and also put up great numbers testing. The player leading the way at TE was MVP [player_tooltip player_id='1209382' first='Jacob' last='Haughton'] and the WR MVP was [player_tooltip player_id='262069' first='Boden' last='Frosch']. You can dive more into their days in the MVP Article. For the other standouts, let's dive in.

Korz measured in just over 6'4u0022 202 lbs. He ran 4.97 in the 40, broad jumped 9'6u0022 and ran a 4.5 shuttle. They were numbers that perfectly highlight his talent on the field.rnrnLooking at him on the field and in the one on one battles, Korz is already a mismatch for defenders. He has a long frame with hands that can secure the catch, providing a huge catch radius. His long strides eat up ground, and he is surprisingly explosive in short areas. He already has the body control to run effective routes too. Korz is already a varsity impact player. Big things ahead for the freshman.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-66315ccbae4dc"} /-->

The junior measured in at 6' 190 lbs, ran 4.69 in the 40 yard dash, broad jumped 8'10u0022, and ran a solid 4.55 shuttle time. All numbers that would be solid for TE or LB.rnrnIt is great seeing these kids play in person because it helps solidify what we see on tape. The body control and change of direction were strengths of his day. Plus his top end speed ws enough to give DBs a hard time going stride for stride with. While he may not project as a TE at the next level, Rocco has earned a look at LB.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-66315ccbae548"} /-->

Semaji is a smooth route runner. He was able to get out of breaks quickly and didn't have to sacrifice speed going into breaks either. The TE demonstrated some power to fight through jams and to not be pumped off his route. The sophomore also had to show some toughness, playing through an injured hand. Semaji is consistently showing improvement. He ran 4.78 in the 40, 4.88 in the shuttle, and broad jumped 8'1u0022. All numbers that are great building points for a freshman.rnrnOn the field Wyatt caught my eyes with his play speed. He was able to get off the line down field at a great pace. He is still learning the nuanced parts of the position, but he has the athleticism to lean on. Plus Wyatt showed off reliable hands. The sophomore ran 4.46 in the 40, 4.25 in the shuttle, broad jumped 9'3u0022, and ran 7.37 in the L Drill. Numbers that suggest an athlete with the top end speed and the agility to be an effective route runner.rnrnThen we got to the field we saw just how effective of a route runner Brody is. He instantly ate up cushion off the line and then could either stack his DB as he went deep and easily tracked the ball for huge catches, or he would show that he could get through route breaks at nearly top speed. That speed through breaks left a lot of DBs trying to catch up. Schaffer was a mismatch nightmare. His body control paired with the numbers above allowed him to play even faster than the solid numbers suggested. He was physical through contact as to not get bumped off his routes and did a good job of going and getting the ball aggressively. He knew how to position his body so he would have the leverage and his explosive lower body allowed him to go up and attack the ball. Lauren ran a 4.50 in the shuttle, and broad jumped 8'2u0022.rnrnWhat was really impressive was how much faster and explosive Larenzz was when we got to the live action. He is such a smooth athlete, playing with no wasted movement. Pratt's balance allows him to run sudden routes and that led to plenty of space for the QB to target. Shaundel has long arms that add to his catch radius and that showed up on the field.rnrnShaundel was a savvy route runner. He was able to consistently win with his route running. Strong numbers that verify what we saw on tape coming into the event. Emmitt was a mismatch at the JV level, so I was excited to see him against older opponents. The 2027 looked at home. He impressed me with how well he could track the ball and adjust to it while it was in the air. He was able to make impressive over the shoulder catches and grabs at awkward angles.
