Boden made big strides in his junior season, going from 30/356/5 as a sophomore to 63/1047/12 as a junior. If he even builds on those junior numbers even a little bit we could see him vault himself near the top spot for receptions in 2024. That is definitely in the cards because Boden returns with his starting QB from 2023. That is huge for a kid trying to lead the state in receptions. On his own, Boden is a talented route runner who consistently is running with a lot of separation from DBs for his QB to easily target. His soft hands and those easy target areas make him an easy target. A big year is on the way for Boden.

Boden is a WR that far more programs need to know about. Every time I cross paths with him at camps he stands out from the crowd. Doesn’t matter if there are 20 WRs in camp or 200+. The 5’9″ 175 lbs ’25 ran a 4.65 40 and 4.5 pro agility. He also jumped 9’4″ and 35.8″. Even with those strong numbers, on the field is where Boden truly separates himself. He does that with excellent route running. Boden has excellent balance, allowing him to get into and out of breaks quickly and with minimal steps. The incoming senior is able to burst out of those breaks too, which leads to the consistent separation we see him open up. Boden is one of the top route runners in WI, and also one of the most productive returning receivers in the state. I highly recommend getting eyes on this kid. He is a mismatch with his route running.

I was excited to see one of the state’s most productive receivers in action, and Boden didn’t disappoint. The 5’9″ 180 lbs WR dominated the combine portion of the day where he got to prove how explosive his lower body is. The junior board jumped 9’4″, ran a 4.6 40 yard dash, and a blazing 4.32 shuttle. Those numbers alone do a great job of showing his balance when changing direction and his powerful acceleration.
Watching him in 1 on 1s further locked into our minds how dominant he is out wide. Boden is able to run very effective routes with sharp breaks that opened up separation all day long. His ability to stay square through those breaks gave him the chance to accelerate and pull away. Frosch also showed off the strong hands to make catches through contact when the separation wasn’t there. Every rep the junior found a way to get to the ball and once he got his hands on it there was a good chance he was completing the catch. Boden is going to have a big senior season this fall. Don’t wait that long to get on him, though. He is a talented prospect.

When I’m watching the WRs you can bet my eyes will be scanning for Boden. Frosch is one of the most productive receivers returning to the varsity field this fall. His quick twitch agility and acceleration have made him a dangerous route runner to play man against. So I’m hoping we see him put on a show during one on one battles. I’m also excited to see the hands on display. Plus getting some numbers on his agility and burst will be great to help draw the picture of what he brings to the table.

Boden should have college coaches very excited to get him on campus this offseason/summer. Frosch put up 1,047 yards as a junior, and will be in position to beat that as a senior. His skill set is so exciting, and insanely difficult to matchup with at the HS level. The 2025 is fast, but he is even quicker than he is fast. His quick twitch in short areas jumps off the screen. It makes him a sudden route runner, opening up a ton of separation with that agility, acceleration, and body control. Expect Boden to be in the running for #1 in receiving yards in 2024.

Stats: 4 Receptions, 184 Yards, 2 TDsrnThe now 5’10” 175 lbs junior WR out of Sauk Prairie has been off to a hot start this season! Boden isn’t even top 30 in receptions, yet he is second ovearll in receiving yards. A great example of how much of a big lay threat he is developing into. Right off the bat, you see that Frosch has the next level speed to be able to get behind the defense and track down the ball in the air. Boden isn’t just a speedster that stretches the field. He is also blessed with excellent quickness, body control, and agility to be able to run sharp, sudden routes that open up a lot of separation, and he has a nose for soft spots in coverage. Big things are ahead for the junior. Get on him early.

Arguably the breakout player of the day for me was the Sauk Prairie WR. Boden checked in at 5’8″ 170 lbs. He ran a blazing 4.68 40, 4.37 shuttle, a pair of 9’7″ broad jumps, and a pair of 7.28 L-Drills. Frosch showed off a bit of everything you are looking for in a budding WR of his size. Quickness, speed, change of direction are all traits that give him success. I was impressed with his one on ones as well. The underclassman ran very sharp routes that opened up a lot of cushion for his QBs to target easily. He was able to go in and out of his breaks with no loss of speed, and it left DBs trying to catch up, and find him even at times. I’m very excited for Boden’s next few years of development. He had a great day.
