Lyons is one of the smoothest quarterbacks I’ve seen and seems to be able to drive the ball down the field with a flick of the wrist.
He is athletic, fluid in all his movements and plays with personality and confidence.
O’Neal has as good of arm strength as anyone in any class.
He’s lost a few pounds and still has a strong frame. The ball comes out of his hand very nicely and he was hitting receivers in stride that he had never met before.
O’Neal has all the tools and could have a monster year at Narbonne.
OTHER TOP PERFORMERS
Berry is lengthy with a smooth throwing motion and some impressive velocity on the short throws.
He was great during Charter Oak’s playoff run last season and has a ton of upside.
Chambers beat out some quality quarterbacks at Rancho Cucamonga last season and he shined on Sunday.
He moves fluidly and quickly. His release is tight and fast and he throws a nice spiral consistently.
Highlights
I was explaining who Edmunds was to another reporter and he couldn’t believe he was in the class of 2027.

Cash Herrera Cash Herrera 6’3″ | 185 lbs | QB Bishop’s | 2026 State CA has a quick release and the ball jumps out of his hand.
He showed excellent arm strength when throwing off-platform and was able to get zip on the ball even when not being able to get his body behind the throw.
The 247 scouts were very impressed with him and some didn’t know who he was before Sunday.
Jones has a tight release and moves fluidly. He throws well on the run and from the pocket.
Palmer was one of the fastest quarterbacks on the day and was the No. 2 SPARQ tester.
He throws very well while rolling to his right and raised his stock on Sunday.
Pannell has textbook mechanics and knows exactly when to put zip on the ball and when to put air under the ball.
He was hitting receivers in stride and throwing tight spirals all day.
Reynolds is built like a linebacker and was the most muscular quarterback at the camp.
He gets his whole body into his throws and is committed to Arizona State for baseball.
Taylor was tied for the highest accuracy score with O’Neal for the underclassmen.
In addition to his accuracy, he flashed some arm strength too and his footwork earned praise from one of the coaches during the drills.
