Formerly out of Shady Side Academy, now making the move to Penn Hills to presumably take the starting spot from Pitt commit Julian Dugger Julian Dugger 6’4″ | 200 lbs | QB Penn Hills | 2024 State PA . Five-minute sophomore tape, had top 2027 WR Carter Bonner Carter Bonner 6’2″ | 185 lbs | WR Imani Christrian Academy | 2027 State PA at his disposal, worked in an offense that preferred to work out of 10 personnel, spread system. Confidence is sky high, has high RPM numbers for a kid who is a bit slight in frame. Offense depolys a ton of pre-snap motion, adds to Devin Harris Devin Harris 6’0″ | 160 lbs | QB Penn Hills | 2026 State PA ‘ mental, he can clearly handle it. Add post-snap mesh with backs in the backfield, Harris is seen tucking and delivering accurate darts to slants and out routes alike. Love the deep ball accuracy, several reps on tape showcasing he can drop balls into a bucket when targeting nines downfield. Displays an underrated mechanical set-up. Footwork looks worked on, there’s timing and rhythm in his drop back. Has a flick to his release but it doesn’t look unnatural. Interested in seeing if he hits a growth spurt of some kind. Harris prefers to throw the football nine times out of ten, yet he’s more than capable of moving for first downs. Wonder if this part of his game will expand at Penn Hills. Could easily be moved inside the Top20.

Has nearly every completion on tape from his special sophomore year, a year that helped lead Northwestern Lehigh to a state title appearance against BVA. Had the chance to see Leh work in person here. Much bigger prospects ranked beneath Leh can’t chuck the football like he can. First rep on tape has Leh working out of a play-action set, dropping back and flicking a 50-air-yard bomb downfield for a score. Quite the way to open up your tape, especially when you’re a relatively slight-framed passer. Standing at a good height, 170-pounds, Leh operates out of an offense that likes to show tight/heavy pre-snap, yet deploy 3+ targets downfield post-snap. Ton of early looks out of 1TE/2Back sets, Leh can work read-option and play-action sets, all the while keeping his head downfield to read/scan the defense. Is a surprisingly good athlete, witnessed a QB power set called for him, one he took 50+ yards for a score. Little bit of flare in his game, the 50-yard bombs, the 50-yard tuck and runs, Leh also has a scramble rep that has him delivering a ridiculous 40-yard TD ball while practically in his own sideline. Considering Leh’s production and early skillset, I think college coaches in the New England area (FCS) could show interest over time, so long as he continues to develop. Might not be a certified early offer candidate because of his size right now, recruiting shouldn’t be on his mind at this time anyway. Great player.

Flynn, the OJR JV Player of the Year, nearly cracks our Top 20, placing over some serious studs at the position. This is likely to outrage someone somewhere, let me briefly explain why I’m high on this young man. JV tape is JV tape, yet to my evaluating eyes, a throw is a throw, a read is a read, a 45-yard throw from the pocket is… you get the idea. Taking a look at Flynn’s tape, you immediately drool over the prospects build. I shouldn’t have to mention the importance of carrying a proficient height/weight combination at this position. Flynn flashes the arm talent next, suddenly a coaching staff has more ingredients to work with than half of the state. You don’t find sophomore’s this comfortable in the pocket, with arm strength and size often. I’m willing to go out on a limb and project Flynn to be looked at as one of the better QBs in his class after his junior season at OJR. I won’t break down what I’m seeing against JV secondaries, I’ll leave tape dissection up for another time. We’ll see if this is a hit or a miss.

- formerly out of Armstrong, now at Knoch
A frequent camper, a passer I see more times a year than some close to home, I’m appreciative of the young man’s work ethic and commitment to the position. Despite a drop in positional rank, something that was a bit forced considering his sophomore campaign was cut short 5-6 weeks, I still think highly of the young man. A top 20 QB in a historically great class, Sprankle now takes his talents to Knoch football. It’s worth noting he won’t be throwing to former Armstrong, now IMG stud Ian Olsen Ian Olsen 6’0″ | 190 lbs | WR IMG Academy | 2025 FL any longer, the two together nearly drew me out to an Armstrong game a good seven hours away from home. Like I’ve noted in the past, tough to really dissect much from his four games last Fall, I’d be doing him a disservice by attempting to break down much of the same throws I’ve seen Sprankle make dating back to the 2022 Fall season. Still, 66 attempts, no interceptions, 12 scores. I’m excited to see Sprankle get a fresh start this coming Fall, I know the young man stays ready. Hope to see him climb back up our ranks.

Boasts a six-minute tape on Hudl. Tossed over 1,000 yards, 10+ scores in 8 games played, I’m not positive on the total amount of true starts under his belt, considering he did not start opening week against Harrisburg while I was in attendance. The first QB to crack the Top20, operates out of ten personnel frequently, is tasked with rolling out to his throwing side often, moving his launch point and opening up passing lanes, making defenders think post-snap is a priority, Najee Still Najee Still 6’2″ | 180 lbs | QB William Penn York | 2026 State PA excels in this position. WPY likes to run a two-man curl/wheel with Still rolling toward the set, Still does a great job locating his open man downfield both inside and out of the pocket. Still has no problem giving his vertical shot a chance, although I like the decisiveness shown when attacking short/intermediate routes, he isn’t thinking at the position, he’s seeing and reacting, which is a plus. Arm talent ceiling might be a bit low, hopefully we see him get the ball out in front of his speedy wideouts a bit more frequently, even so, he gets the job done. Good build, one that can absorb pressure and still move if need be. Good grades, good skillset, an offseason full of refinement is in order, hope to see a 2024 version of Still that places even higher on our ranks next update.
