A full contact football game featuring some of the best 2025 prospects on Long Island playing against some of New York City’s top prospects in the 2025 class. This game will take place at SUNY Maritime on May 18th. Take a look at the QB’s, RB’s and WR’s for Team Long Island.
Quarterbacks
One of the top players in all of Suffolk County from this past season. Outlaw elevated a West Babylon team past expectations and went to the county semifinals. He is a silky dual threat quarterback with a cannon of an arm. During his junior season, he made some of the most entertaining plays while scrambling and making incredible throws to help his team succeed. His 4.7 speed and great arm talent is a very exciting combination.
The Islip product continues to put himself in the conversation with the top ‘25 quarterbacks on Long Island. Nash had a great junior year and keeps on racking up amazing showings at 7v7’s. Nash had his signature game against John Glenn this year where he broke multiple school records. Nash passed for 378 yards and ran for 178 yards, as he combined for 556 total yards and 5 scores. He’s gotten much more athletic and can make make a ton of different throws under pressure.
Highlights
Running Back
One of the most electrifying players in this entire game. Villalta made a case as the best player in Nassau County just as a junior. His speed and shiftiness tore up almost every defense he went against. Villalta has great vision and big play ability anytime he has the football. He will be a threat as a receiver out of the backfield as well. Look for Team Long Island to get him into space and Villalta will showcase how big of a threat he is with the football.
Without a doubt the power back of this group. Gonzalez comes in weighing more than 220 pounds and he is a load to bring down. During his junior season he racked up a ton of yards after contact. He only played four games but he did serious damage with 510 all purpose yards and 6 touchdowns. Along with his bruising run style, Gonzalez brings the acceleration to the table. He has some breakaway speed and is a very exciting prospect to keep an eye on in this game.
The workhorse for St Anthony’s will be the third and final running back for Team Long Island. Alfaro had a solid junior season, and he was a reliable back to keep the chains moving. Alfaro brings speed and toughness while running the football. He had a number of very impressive runs to the outside throughout his junior campaign. The junior tailback has a great change of direction and despite his size he made some great blocks all year.
Highlights
Wide Receivers
The 6’3 receiver from Herricks was a monster during his junior season. Kamran led Nassau County in all three major receiving categories just as a junior. His size and athleticism gave opponents a big problem. His yards after catch were very impressive and he had the ability to dominate on jump balls. He made so many contested catches last season, as Kamran can high point the ball extremely well. When Herricks needed a play, they threw it up to Kamran.
Highlights
One of the best route runners you’ll see in this game. Dietrich was one of the bright spots for Chaminade this past season and he’s lined up for a big senior season. He was deadly from the slot, as Dietrich would create separation against some of the best defensive backs in the state on a weekly basis. He has great hands and was able to make catches through contact consistently. Look out for him to be a dominant slot receiver in this game.
Highlights
Another fantastic router runner you’ll see in this game. Gatchalian had a big junior season for Framingdale registering over 400 yards and 7 touchdowns. Despite Farmingdale always pounding the rock, Gatchalian was a beast when the Dalers aired it out. He was always creating separation and had excellent hands during his breakout junior year.
If you like speed, you’ll love Simpson. He will be one of the fastest prospects in this game and certainly a deep threat to look out for. Simpson can blow by defenders and haul in passes for big plays or he can do it on short routes. His explosiveness allows him to be a threat to go the distance at any given moment. Simpson will also be a threat on kickoffs and punt returns headed into this game.
Highlights
Another very athletic receiver from Holy Trinity. Cruz made plays as a receiver, runner and a returner all throughout his junior season. He showcased the ability to make very difficult catches while also displaying very impressive speed. Cruz tracks the ball very well and he will be an intriguing prospect all offseason.

The Pat Pizzarelli award winner (Given to Nassau County’s top receiver) will also be in this game. The Elmont native will be one of the most fun players to watch in this game. At 6 foot 4, Edwards has incredible size and he has some of the best hands in the county. He made some very flashy catches during his junior year where he guided Elmont to the playoffs.
