Dietrich is the top wide receiver for a loaded receiving corps out there in Mineola. The Flyers are expected to pass the ball more and utilize receivers like Dietrich more often this season. Dietrich was an All League player last season, and he’s lined up for an excellent senior season. This summer Dietrich has put himself in the conversation with the top receivers in the state. He has torn up the camp circuit and collected multiple NESCAC offers. Dietrich will be one of the league’s top route runners this season. Look out for him to be the top target in a Flyers offense that’s expected to have a bounce back season.

Chaminade’s top receiver made a statement at the Elite V Showcase. He ended up being one of the top receivers after dominating the 1v1 portion of the event. Dietrich is an elite route runner with fantastic hands. He’s gotten visibly stronger and faster and it showed against stellar competition. He had some excellent releases off the line of scrimmage as well. He’s proving to be one of the most explosive receivers in the highly talented NYCHSFL AAA division.

One of the best route runners you’ll see in this game. Dietrich was one of the bright spots for Chaminade this past season and he’s lined up for a big senior season. He was deadly from the slot, as Dietrich would create separation against some of the best defensive backs in the state on a weekly basis. He has great hands and was able to make catches through contact consistently. Look out for him to be a dominant slot receiver in this game.

For the Flyers, they have two key factors on offense that could change this game. Jack Tully could run wild like St Peters did against the Cougars in Week 1, and Michael Dietrich Michael Dietrich 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Chaminade | 2025 State NY could also have a huge game from the slot. In just two games the junior receiver has registered 11 catches, 141 yards and a touchdown. He’s been one of the smoothest route runners I’ve seen and one of the top players for Chaminade. The Cougars have a lockdown corner on the outside within Chris King but they will need an answer for Dietrich over the middle because now in his third game with Tyler Mastronardi Tyler Mastronardi 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Chaminade | 2024 State NY we could see a true breakout game with how well he’s been playing.

I was beyond excited to see Dietrich in action and he was a problem for these secondaries. He was one of the best route running receivers during this 7v7. He had a smooth release and was always able to get into space, where his quarterback Tyler Mastronardi Tyler Mastronardi 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Chaminade | 2024 State NY would fire a dart to him. With his athleticism, and how talented other receivers like Brendan Park Brendan Park 6'1" | 195 lbs | WR Chaminade | 2025 State NY and Peter Braz Peter Braz 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Chaminade | 2025 State NY are, you should see Chaminade throw the ball more and be less conservative offensively. Dietrich has a breakout season written all over him. This is the most talent Chaminade has had for a passing offense since their 2019 team that won the “AA” title.
