Cory Lemer | Prep Redzone Scout
Carnevale In the game against Archbishop Stepinac had himself a day. The Junior QB, started the season on my Watch List, and after watching that game, he 100% elevated himself. I like his poise in the pocket, and against a tough defense, he made good decisions, If the Flyers want to move on in the playoffs, a big game from Carnevale is needed.

For those of you that keep up to date with Prep Redzone NY, you know I like Carnevale a lot. He landed on the watch list in the last ranking update as he was yet to start a game. Through five starts this season, he has eight touchdowns, and two interceptions, against some of the top teams in the state.
Playing in the Catholic League is difficult, and the first year started looks poised at the helm. With playmakers like Anthony Trapani Anthony Trapani 5'7" | 170 lbs | LB Chaminade | 2027 State NY , and Michael Genovese Michael Genovese 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Chaminade | 2027 State NY , Chaminade has a bright future with Carnevale at the helm. His ability in big time games (Archbishop Stepinac), and stats through the first portion of this season, are helping him turn heads in the Catholic League.

Carnevale, came into this game as one of my top players on the Chaminade sideline. The 5’11” 160 pound QB started the season unranked, but has impressed and performed through the easy part of the season.
Carnevale had limited film through his high school career, but against Stepinac, he showcased an elite IQ. He made little to no mistakes the entire game, and commanded the offense with a good arm and accuracy on throws.

Carnevale is off to a great start to his Junior Campaign. The Chaminade starter has led the Flyers to a 2-0 record, while tossing over 600 yards which slots him in the top five of the state. He has four touchdowns and has completed 64% of his passes so far. Carnevale looks poised and focused, with continued production we can see him ranked shortly.

Carnevale is poised for a breakout season after being the backup on varsity a year ago and gaining valuable experience. A natural thrower with a big arm, Carnevale brings a high ceiling as a pure passer. Now taking the keys, Carnevale has some great talent to work with and he’s expected to take a major leap in 2025 in the AAA division.
