The two-way star Trapani, has been electric all year for the Flyers. Chaminade has a playoff matchup against Monsignor Farrell this weekend, and I expect Trapani to have a major impact on the outcome of this game.
He is ranked 105th in the state, which is solid number, that still feels too low for him. His size standing at 5’7″ 170-Pounds, leaves him with an undersized frame. He is an elite LB, and has a high IQ, paired with a never ending motor which he uses to become an enforcer in the run game, and control each sideline, wrapping up tackles before players can break free. I saw him a few times this season, and their were limited pass defense reps, leaving me to see him as an LB, who can be used in the run game, and as an extra rusher.

Trapani was a DAWG Friday night. The 5’7″ 170-Pound LB, is played bigger than his frame, and was all over the field the entire game.
The 2027 prospect, had two rushing touchdowns during the game, while playing at both RB, and LB. Trapani showed great vision, and elite footwork, which allowed him to cut up and across the field during the game.

Last year Trapani impressed a ton of people. Just as a sophomore, Trapani wasn’t the biggest player but he showed that he was a gamer. He was the third in tackles for one of the state’s best defensive units last year. His explosiveness and nose for the ball jumps out to you right away. Trapani can race to the ball carrier and make some tough tackles against speedy or bigger players. He’ll be one of the best defensive players on Long Island the next two years.
