The 6’3 receiver from Herricks was a monster during his junior season. Kamran led Nassau County in all three major receiving categories just as a junior. His size and athleticism gave opponents a big problem. His yards after catch were very impressive and he had the ability to dominate on jump balls. He made so many contested catches last season, as Kamran can high point the ball extremely well. When Herricks needed a play, they threw it up to Kamran.

At 6 foot 3 he causes problems for these undersized corners. He has been excellent in 50/50 ball scenarios all year long. And against Calhoun, that was one of the couple of areas he thrived in. Despite losing the game, Kamran was a monster, he collected 12 catches for 163 yards and 2 scores. When they were trailing 36-22, Kamran took a screen pass and put the team on his back. Almost quite literally, when he broke five tackles and had a magical run into the endzone. They utilized him on screen passes to get yards and then they kept throwing it up to the big man. Kamran had great body positioning and was able to high point the ball to come away with some great catches in jump ball situations.

The Herricks product put himself in the conversation for the top receiver performance at the event. .He has great size at 6 foot 3 and he high pointed the ball well. He had a bunch of reps in a row where he got the best of his defender and he hauled in each pass. He created separation constantly and he showed his ability to run different types of routes and would still win his matchups relatively easily. Kamran brought serious intensity to every rep he was out there.
