And check back next Monday for our final prospect ranking update when we look at the 2024 class!
Edmond Santa Fe’s Demarius Robinson Demarius Robinson 5’9″ | 165 lbs | RB Edmond Santa Fe | 2025 State OK was one of the top 2025 prospects in the state following his freshman season. He started at Edmond Santa Fe from the start and enjoyed a massive season in 2021. Last season, as a sophomore, Robinson missed the majority of the year with nagging injuries. This year, he’s back to dominating and it doesn’t matter who the Wolves are lined up against. Robinson had a stretch in four consecutive games where he was AVERAGING 300 yards per game. Robinson has firmly established himself as not only one of the top running backs in Oklahoma but one of the top overall players in the state. And with him back to full strength and performing, it feels like his recruitment is about to explode.

We’ve been talking about Idabel’s 2025 class for a while now but just in case you haven’t been paying attention to what’s happening in southeastern Oklahoma, it’s special. They have one of the best running backs in the state’s 2025 class and Matrail Lopez Matrail Lopez 6’0″ | 175 lbs | ATH Idabel | 2025 State OK has absolutely exploded as a versatile athlete that is a game-changing wide receiver on offense and a standout defender on the defensive side of the ball. And as if that wasn’t enough, Lopez has also been dangerous as a kick returner in the special teams department. With the playoffs right around the corner, Lopez and Idabel are primed to make a deep run in the Class 2A postseason. And after the year, we’re looking forward to seeing more of Lopez in the offseason.

The first of two Union Redhawks on this breakdown and interestingly enough, they are two Redhawks that used to suit up for rival Jenks in the past. Junior running back Jordan Schelling Jordan Schelling 5’10” | 215 lbs | RB Union | 2025 State OK is closing in on 1,000 yards on the ground and we’ve really liked the production he’s had this season. The rushing yards are obvious but he’s also been able to make plays out of the backfield. And with Union missing their star quarterback over the last few weeks, Schelling has elevated his game and appears to be ready for an elevated workload moving forward. Schelling earned his first D1 offer recently and the hard-running standout is just scratching the surface when it comes to that department. This has been an excellent and consistent season for Schelling.

Broken Arrow junior wide receiver Kayleb Barnett Kayleb Barnett 5’10” | WR Broken Arrow | 2025 State OK is coming off arguably his best performance of the season. The Tigers bounced back in a big way with a blowout win on the road against Enid. Barnett shined bright and if he keeps this going, the Tigers will start building momentum towards the playoffs. Barnett is absolutely electric with the football in his hands and he’s going to be a wide receiver to pay attention to moving forward. The Tigers have dealt with injuries throughout the season but Barnett is a bright spot in this Broken Arrow offense right now. This fall, Barnett’s recruitment has started to take off and it’s probably not going to slow down anytime soon. Barnett is climbing the ladder in a deep wide receiver position.
It was only a matter of time before Union junior Boston Carrasco Boston Carrasco 5’10” | 170 lbs | ATH Union | 2025 State OK started producing like we’ve seen this fall. You could see Carrasco knocking on the door of becoming one of the more versatile athletes in the class and he’s backed up the hype this season. Carrasco has been one of Union’s top wide receivers but they use him in several other ways as well on the offensive side of the ball. He’s also helped out the run game at times, including a breakaway run on an end around against Mustang. Carrasco has also shown the ability to be a speed demon in the open field in the return game. He has two kickoff returns for scores, including the opening kickoff in the top five showdown with Edmond Santa Fe last week, when points were hard to come by early.
