While we won't be ranking any 2027 prospects quite yet, you can make the argument that Booker T Washington defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='473952' first='Joseph' last='Graves'] is at or near the top of the class already. There are few freshmen that have had as big of an impact on the varsity level like Graves. And the Hornets will look for Graves to have another stellar performance on Friday night when the Hornets play host to Bartlesville. The Bruins are 0-3 but this is a team that has one of the best running backs in the class. Having Graves and the rest of the Booker T Washington front seven playing their best will help in containing the Bartlesville playmaker.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["572028"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Out in western Oklahoma, we have Hooker hosting defending Class A champion Fairview in the district opener that could end up deciding the district championship. There's a lot of football to be played but these two teams are among the best coming into the season. For Hooker, they are 2-1 with their only loss coming to a team from Texas. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='572028' first='Kleat' last='Martens'] has picked up right where he left off during his breakout sophomore season. Martens had 21 passing touchdowns and 20 touchdowns on the ground last season. So far this season, Martens has thrown for more than 500 yards and ran for more than 300 yards. He has five passing touchdowns and four rushing scores. This is a great quarterback match-up and we could see a lot of points.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["211565"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"It's time for the annual u0022Moore Waru0022 between the Lions and rival Westmoore on Friday night to open district play. Moore is off to a 3-0 start for the third consecutive season but the last two years finished with them on the outside looking in on the playoffs. Now, the Lions are hungry to finish the job and step one is beating Westmoore on Friday night. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='211565' first='Malikai' last='Miller'] has had a great start to the 2023 season. After moving over from Edmond Santa Fe during the summer, Miller established himself as an absolute playmaker in the Moore offense. He's thrown for four touchdowns and leads the team with five touchdowns on the ground. Moore's first three wins were decided by a combined seven points. We could see another close one play out this week.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["595685"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"#3 Norman North hits the road to face top-ranked and defending champion Bixby on Friday night. The Timberwolves are off to a 3-0 start but Friday's district opener will be the toughest test of the season as they face the Spartans. Part of Norman North's 3-0 start has been the play from junior standout [player_tooltip player_id='595685' first='Owen' last='Eshelman'] at the quarterback position. Eshelman was outstanding last week in the win over Yukon. He threw for three touchdowns and ran for two more scores in the week three victory. Eshelman is no stranger to coming over to the Tulsa area and shining bright. He played a big part in Norman North beating Jenks on the road last season. If Eshelman can lead the Timberwolves to another upset win on the road, he'll put the rest of Class 6A-1 on notice moving forward.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1005608"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Pauls Valley jumped into the Class 3A rankings this week and the Panthers are going to be tested immediately as they go on the road to face #3 Marlow to open district play. The Outlaws are coming off a big road win against Perkins-Tryon in a 3A top five showdown in week three. The Panthers return to the field this week after having week three off. Leading the way for the Panthers this season has been junior [player_tooltip player_id='1005608' first='Tanner' last='Perry'] at the quarterback position. He's quickly becoming one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in Class 3A. In the first three games, he's thrown for over 300 yards and ran for over 200 yards. In each of their first three games, he's run for at least one touchdown. Perry and the Panthers will look to make noise with a big road win over a top five team.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-650c492b213d2"} /-->

MORE NAMES TO KNOW THIS WEEK

[player_tooltip player_id='1005610' first='Austin' last='Solis'] - 2025 Running Back - Mangum
(VS Apache)

In one of the marquee games in Class A this week, we'll see #6 Mangum hosting #10 Apache on Friday night. Mangum looks to stay unbeaten this week and junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1005610' first='Austin' last='Solis'] will look to continue his hot start to the 2023 season. Solis has run for at least 100 yards and multiple touchdowns in the last three games. He has over 500 yards and ten touchdowns on the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='897910' first='Ciaran' last='Pedulla'] - 2024 Wide Receiver - Edmond Memorial
(AT Edmond Santa Fe)

Edmond Memorial's passing attack has been arguably the best in Oklahoma. Senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='897910' first='Ciaran' last='Pedulla'] is one of three Bulldog receivers to already have at least 300 yards on the season. And you can make the argument that Pedulla is the top big play threat in the state right now. He only has 17 receptions on the season so far and nearly half of them have gone for touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='402370' first='Cole' last='Robbins'] - 2026 Athlete - Durant
(AT Sapulpa)

Durant is off to a 2-1 start and the Lions look like a team that could end up being a dark horse in Class 5A to make quite a bit of noise. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='402370' first='Cole' last='Robbins'] is quickly establishing himself as the top offensive weapon on the Lions offense. We really liked Robbins as a freshman and he had a strong offseason. He's coming off a game against Will Rogers where he had three touchdowns on the ground.

[player_tooltip player_id='211556' first='Jamarian' last='Ficklin'] - 2025 Quarterback - Muskogee
(VS Sand Springs)

After suffering a setback at home against 5A's #1 Carl Albert, 6A-2's #1 Muskogee is back on the field hosting #5 Sand Springs in a top five showdown to open district play. The Roughers beat the Sandites last year led by quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='211556' first='Jamarian' last='Ficklin'] in a runaway win. Ficklin tossed six touchdowns in the win as the Roughers started fast and finished strong and they'll look to repeat that this week.

[player_tooltip player_id='439153' first='Jordan' last='Schelling'] - 2025 Running Back - Union
(VS Owasso)

Union's backfield got a boost over the summer when junior [player_tooltip player_id='439153' first='Jordan' last='Schelling'] moved over from rival Jenks. Schelling has become the top running back in the Union offense and they'll look for him to have a big game as the Redhawks host Owasso in a game that could decide the district crown. In addition to being Union's top rusher, Schelling is also a threat in the passing game.
