is heading into his fourth season with the Lions and we’ve lost track on how many positions he’s played for Durant over the last three years. Robbins is the ultimate swiss army knife where he can line up just about anywhere on the field (outside of the line of scrimmage but even that we’d not raise our eyebrows) and he’s going to be productive. Offensively, he gives Durant a reliable playmaker at quarterback, running back or wide receiver. Defensively, he can be moved around but we’ve loved what we’ve seen from him in the secondary.

Over the last two years, Durant has had two of the more high-profile prospects on their roster and other guys can fly under the radar. But if you’ve followed our coverage of Durant, you know about junior

and the versatility he brings to the football field. On offense, he can line up at any skill position but he’s expected to play quarterback this season. On defense, he does a great job of roaming the secondary and Robbins has been a player that we have really liked over the last two years. Robbins can help his team in a variety of ways and we’re always going to be fans of players that play with a lot of versatility and can impact a game in different spots.

is another great definition of the “athlete” tag. We’ve probably lost count of how many different positions we’ve seen Robbins play over the last two years. Between his varsity action with Durant in the fall to what we’ve seen from him in the offseason while playing 7v7, Robbins has done a little bit of everything. Normally, we start to lean one way or the other, whether it’s offense or defense or a position over another one. With Robbins, we have no lean even now after two years of watching him. The Durant standout does a lot of things very well and he can end up impacting the game in a variety of ways.

as an overall athlete. We got a chance to see Robbins firsthand this offseason at a few 7v7 tournaments and we also looked at his freshman film. On both accounts, the Durant playmaker really impressed. In a 7v7 setting, Robbins was playing quarterback and then safety on defense. In his film, he was a playmaker on offense, defense and even on special teams. The versatility that we watched on his film makes us really excited about the potential he has moving forward. We’ll be keeping an eye on Robbins this fall to see how the Lions use him.

a few times this offseason whether it was just breaking down film or checking him out at a few different 7v7 tournaments and we’re convinced he’s a playmaker. Last season, Robbins was a big time player for the Lions whether he lined up at quarterback, safety or returned kicks. We watched him up close and in person at a few 7v7 tournaments this offseason and again he was impressive. Durant has a few 2026 prospects that are on the radar already and we think that Robbins is part of that group and should get a little more attention coming into this fall. It’s going to be very exciting to see how Durant’s coaches use Robbins this season because they know that they have a playmaker but allowing him to have the biggest impact will be key. The Lions could be bouncing back in a big way this season.

. The more we see Robbins, whether it’s film or in person, the more we think he’s going to be an absolute problem for opponents for the next three seasons. For Durant, Robbins is their versatile weapon that is dangerous in all three phases of the game. For C4 during the 7v7 season, Robbins is their quarterback and also a safety. Robbins has an absolute cannon for an arm and he unleashed several passes that were very impressive. Then he would turn around and play the safety position and control the secondary. We are very impressed with Robbins and think he has the chance to be a breakout player within the state’s 2026 class. Durant might have struggled in the win-loss column last season but they return quite a bit of talent and should make some noise in 2023.

is our first of two 2026 prospects on this breakdown. So we’ll start there when we look at what Robbins is and what he could be down the line. It is so incredibly early in his development that it’s very hard to predict where he’ll be by the time he’s signing with his future college. We definitely want to see more of Robbins moving forward because what we’ve seen from him so far is very impressive. You throw on the tape from his freshman season and the first three plays show just how versatile he can be. First play is returning a kick for a touchdown. Second play is him coming up from a safety position on defense and laying a big hit on a ball carrier. And the third play is Robbins taking a hand off and scoring from the wide receiver position. Robbins played multiple positions on both sides of the ball and that versatility definitely stood out to us when we checked him out. Another really impressive part of his tape was the opponents that he was having success against. It featured some of Durant’s toughest competition and he was still making plays in a variety of ways. That definitely is something that will stick with us moving forward.

, who comes in as the #3 athlete and #21 overall in the recent update. Robbins made plays on offense, defense and special teams as a return specialist for the Lions in 2022. Durant struggled in the win-loss columns but they do have some young talent to be excited about moving forward. One of the strengths in Robbins’ game is his ability to reach a new gear in the blink of an eye with quick bursts. And when you combine his sudden quickness with his vision on the field and how he always seems to anticipate the correct angles, Robbins is a very dangerous player in the open field. While it’s fun to watch Robbins with the ball in his hands, watching him make the right reads on defense is something to keep an eye on as well.
