One of the best overall prospects from our #TN2025 class, Morrow is headed into his junior year sporting some of the biggest college offers in the country you can have but I’m sure he is ready to back it up on the field where he should be highlighted by the Red Devils staff on both sides of the ball as their top playmaker. When you watch over the film on Morrow, what you see is a natural athlete that is well built physically and the body movements to become the ultimate playmaker on the next level. He shows excellent burst and speed as well as tremendous instincts along with versatility to excel at multiple positions. I have seen schools look at Morrow for RB, WR or DB up to this point, that’s how talented he is but regardless, this Germantown two-way talent is simply a “ball player” that you will see on the Power Five level in the coming years.

Muhammad burst onto the scene last year as a sophomore then took that momentum into the off-season where he established himself as one of the better overall athletes from our in-state junior class and is now viewed as a bonafide Power Five, D1 prospect. The Warriors junior two-way talent is blazer on the field with elite speed that can be utilized in multiple ways. Muhammad has the skill set to develop and excel at receiver or defensive back and right now, it appears college coaches might like this guy best on defense. His upside at cover corner is large due to his athleticism, speed and fluid body movements but regardless, Muhammad’s natural abilities can play up well anywhere on the gridiron. I think we have just seen the start of this guy’s recruitment as I feel tons of schools will get involved over the next few months.

A multi talented prospect that is well built physically, Mosley is one of the better overall, natural athletes that we have from our #TN2025 class and someone that I feel could step onto a college field as a true freshman and immediately compete for playing time. The Eagles two-way talent is so versatile and football savvy that I could see him developing at either RB, WR or DB on the next level and excel at all three. Mosley can still take his game to another level this season as well and boost his stock even further. He is a true candidate for D2-Class A Mr. Football and someone that could put up huge numbers on offense this Fall. This guy is one of the more clean and dependable prospects on this list and a player that could be a steal for whoever signs him.

Elite athleticism and speed are the first two things you recognize when you turn on the tape for this Mid-Tennessee playmaker. Kinnard is the ultimate joystick, the playmaker that simply needs the ball in his hands and he will make something happen! This is a versatile player that could develop at multiple positions on offense but may work best out of the slot where he can be a matchup nightmare for bigger opponents. Kinnard could also develop into a key special teams player in college that not only contributes as a gunner but a return man that can be a difference maker. This coming Fall season should be Kinnard’s coming out party as he steps into a bigger role and is expected to be a game changer each and every game, which in turn will boost his recruiting stock.
Already taking himself off the recruiting board with his summer commitment to Vanderbilt, Lawrence brings a lot of athletic traits to the field that can be developed on either side of the ball but right now, it looks like this East Tennessee talent is geared to become a defensive star in college. Sporting good size, length and a nice frame for added weight, Lawrence looks like the part of a college receiver or safety with the Commodores right now taking him for the defensive side of the ball. The Blue Tornado junior has excellent range and natural athletic skills that makes him a ball hawk with the ability to make plays all over the field. His upside to intercept the ball on the next level is tremendous, so you can see why he is headed to the SEC and ranked as one of the best “athletes” by PRZTN for the #TN2025 class.
Terry is an intriguing talent that is flying a little bit under the radar right now but should enhance his stock further this Fall as the Bears top go-to target on offense and a key contributor over on the defensive side of the ball. While Terry is listed under the athletes for the moment, I’m soon to move him to the receivers, where I think his upside could be utilized the most. The Bears junior works well in short spaces, using his quickness and elusive movements to get around defenders then burst down field. He can also catch the ball in a variety of ways, meaning Terry could play out the backfield if needed. Work inside the weight room and on the field must continue but I like what I see from this East Tennessee talent and his upside for the next level.

The next Groves in line at East Robertson is this 6 ‘0 two-way talent that is exploding on the recruiting scene right now with most college coaches looking at this guy on offense for running back. The Indians rising junior has the size and athletic tools to develop nicely in the backfield but he remains under the “Athletes’ ‘ section for PRZTN due to his need right now to go both ways for his East Robertson team. That will change in time as Groves is very talented for the offensive side of the ball where he brings athleticism, balance and speed to the running back position that translates well to the next level. This coming Fall should be a breakout year for Groves where he can become a Mr. Football candidate as well as a major player in his team’s cause towards their efforts in winning a state title.

A natural athlete with exceptional strength and physicality, Szymborski is a name to know now as he has the upside to become a much wanted recruit that has tools to be developed on either side of the ball. A state champion wrestler, Szymborski is a physical beast that has the look of a college guy that is still developing on the football field and coming into his own. The Blue Raiders junior should be used this season at both tight end and edge linebacker and defense could be his calling card when it comes to reaching the college level. Szymborski shows excellent burst and the ability to play in space while also having the upside to rush the backfield. He can also run good routes on offense while having the ability to become a stud blocker. There are a ton of tools within this East Tennessee product that can be developed into a legit college recruit.

Electric game changing abilities reside within this Mid-Tennessee talent who is still maturing and growing into his body and the moment he realizes how good he can be, watch out! Johnson is a natural athlete that has big time speed and fluid body movements that can be developed on either side of the ball. Over on offense, Johnson is a big play wideout that can get on top of his defender and beat him deep while on defense, the Cougars rising junior brings a versatile skill set to the secondary where he could develop at cover corner, line up at nickel or slide back to safety. There are a lot of tools residing with Johnson that says he is a future college player with continued development but he must buy in fully and the moment he does is when he sees his recruitment pick up in a major way.
An unknown going into the off-season months, Starr quickly became a guy to watch when this Raptors junior ran a 4.40 in camps and showed off his natural athletic abilities and speed along with his college potential. Starr is a tall, long and athletic guy that is still coming into own and developing his body but the speed is there as well as the versatility to play either receiver or defensive back on the next level. While Starr has the tools in place to see his recruitment explode, he does have more work to accomplish as he has yet to take on a major role with the Raptors (Should change this Fall) and he still has some filling out to do with his body. If this Mid-Tennessee product continues to develop at a nice rate, expect to see Starr become a bigger name on the recruiting scene sooner than later.
Many coaches or scouts may not know too much about this Chattanooga area athlete but Pickett is legit and a prospect that I can see gaining more steam on the recruiting trail as these next few months roll along. Playing for his Marion Co. squad, Pickett handles roles on both sides of the ball and could excel on the field in a variety of ways but I foresee this guy becoming a running back on the collegiate gridiron. Pickett is well built physically along with showing nice balance and burst on film that tells me running the ball may be his calling card. He is an athletic guy that can catch passes out of the slot and backfield as well as become a key piece on special teams as a possible return man. A breakout junior season for Pickett will go a long way in watching his recruitment take off to another level.

The Mustangs have been putting out some athletic playmakers into the college ranks for a few years now and Strickland could be in line to continue that trend, only if this Mid-Tennessee talent continues to get bigger and develop at a proper rate. Natural athleticism, speed and elusive movements are the things you immediately see when you turn on tape for this Nashville area prospect. Strickland is a home run hitting playmaker that can get up field quickly, providing a dangerous threat out of the slot. His athletic abilities allows him to possibly develop at defensive back as well but looking at his potential, Strickland may fit best on offense at receiver. The Mustangs junior has yet to take on a big role but that should change this Fall and if Strickland steps forward in a major way, you will see his recruitment take-off.
The Tigers of Fayetteville are excited about this season and poised for a deep playoff run towards a state title and a big reason for that excitement is because of Willoughby. A tremendous athlete with size and make you miss abilities, Willoughby is a dangerous offensive threat that will be manning the quarterback position where he is currently developing at a good rate. Handling signal caller duties may very well be his future but Willoughby is such a good athlete that he could develop at multiple positions on the next level that we must leave him in this prospect group for the time being. If Willoughby shows enhanced improvement this Fall at quarterback, he will be moved and you should see an increase with his recruitment but this dude is highly talented!
One of the bigger mysteries on this list but a guy with size and athletic abilities, Wallace has been on the recruiting radar for a little while now but has been dormant of late until a recent move to South Pittsburg put him back on the map. Standing about 6 ‘2 and 180 pounds plus, Wallace brings size to the field that you like to work with along with natural athletic abilities that can be developed at either receiver or defensive back. The Pirates junior should be highlighted on both sides of the ball this year, helping boost his stock as a playmaker to the point of becoming a highly recruited prospect. Looking over clips of Wallace, I foresee his potential working best in college on defense at safety where he can use his size against the size and his length and range versus the pass. We shall see how he develops but the upside is certainly there for Wallace to rise in our next prospect rankings.
Watch List ……
(Ath) Harrison Brownlee Harrison Brownlee 6'2" | 180 lbs | ATH Columbia Academy | 2025 TN – Columbia Acad.: Sporting nice size and length, Brownlee is a talented two-way talent with a great feel for the game that could go to college one day as a receiver or safety.
(Ath) Kaleb Johnson – Overton: Fast and elusive, Johnson brings playmaking upside to the field that can be established at either receiver or defensive back. His development this Fall will go a long way to what position he could play in the college ranks.
(Ath) Logan McGinnis Logan McGinnis 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH Red Bank | 2025 TN – Red Bank: McGinnis should be stepping into a bigger role this year as one of the team’s top receivers and key defensive backs that brings athleticism and versatility to the football field.
(Ath) Malachi Moore Malachi Moore 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Adamsville | 2025 TN – Adamsville: Well built physically with position versatility, Moore is a little known recruit at the moment that could boost his stock further with a strong junior season with his Adamsville team.
(Ath) Jay Smitherman Jay Smitherman 5'9" | 165 lbs | ATH Ravenwood | 2025 TN – Ravenwood: While this Mid-Tennessee product is listed under the “Athletes” at the moment, Smitherman will soon move to Def. Back where his talents fit best as a versatile defender that handles several secondary roles.
(Ath) Ronye Watson Ronye Watson 5'9" | 175 lbs | ATH Chatt. Central | 2025 TN – Chatt. Central: A multi talented natural athlete, Watson handles a variety of roles for his Pounders team but it’s unclear right now as to where his upside fits the best in college but I’m thinking it might be wide receiver.
