Sporting good size and multiple years of starting experience, Patterson is an intriguing quarterback talent that has the physical tools to spin it on the college level but with him playing on the low level of private ball here in Tennessee, his recruitment has yet to take off. Patterson doesn’t see the competition that many other signal callers do in this state but he is more than able to compete with the best and hopefully he can display that and more this summer during college camp season. His stock may remain under the radar for a while but in the end, Patterson might end up playing on the D1 or FCS level.

Sharing the backfield for his Red Devils team, Blake is an under the radar back that brings a well balanced attack to his position and someone with low tread on his tires moving forward into the college game. Blake sports a strong lower base and within that base, he has shifty feet and enough speed to work through the mesh and hit the homerun. This is a strong dude that is tough to bring down. You can not arm tackle Blake as you must bring your full might to bring him to the turf. He is starting to pick up more steam on the recruiting front but definitely remains underrated as we head into the summer camp season.
If this West Tennessee playmaker had three more inches on him, Cobbs would be one of the more heavily recruited prospects from our #TN2024 class, however he is 5’9 and fighting that uphill battle but believe me, this guy can play! The Cougars senior wideout works best coming out of the slot where he can use his size and speed to his advantage, becoming a mismatch against bigger defenders. Cobbs also plays much bigger too, meaning he can go up high to compete for the ball and come down with the catch along with competing for anything thrown his way. This guy would be a steal for whichever school decides to go all in on this Memphis area prospect.
Highlights
Keep an eye out for this Memphis tight end moving forward as Dabbs has the physical look and skill set to develop into an FCS or D1 caliber prospect. Missing most of his junior season due to injury, Dabbs is looking to make a name for himself this summer camp season in hopes of earning some big offers and he has the potential to achieve that. He has tremendous size (6’6 and long), a great frame for added weight and the athletic abilities to make receptions anywhere on the field. He needs to keep packing on the weight and developing his game but the upside is definitely there to compete on the next level.

A brute mauler with good athleticism, Jackson is a load up front that is hard to move past, especially when he grips on with his powerful hands. The Tigers senior O-lineman shows excellent force on film with his blocking, being able to lock down opponents by either moving them down field or pancaking them. The biggest trait that I think will end up pushing Jackson’s stock up further and watching his recruitment take off is his natural athletic abilities. This is a big dude that moves very well and I think will become more explosive as he matures. I could see Jackson moving into the Top 15 O-linemen in the state before this cycle is settled and done.

As we start to head into spring practice for high school teams across the state, Myers has yet to see much action with his recruitment and that’s surprising as this West Tennessee product has the size, smarts and speed that should be more than intriguing to collegiate coaches. Myers put together a very productive junior season where he was one of the top defensive performers for his Dragons team and his film is quite strong as well. He shows excellent instincts along with range and closing speed as well as the potential to play multiple linebacker roles. Myers has the physical abilities and mental makeup to develop into an every day starter in college but just needs someone to take a chance on his upside.

A multi talented linebacker with position versatility, Helton is a definite under the radar talent that sits without any offers currently but the talent that warrants more looks. This Memphis defender works mainly on the edge where he uses his arm length, bend and explosion to get after the quarterback while also having the range to chase down the ball carrier. Helton is also built in the mold of a possible inside backer as well, so his versatility should appeal to collegiate coaches. His recruitment has yet to take off but he is the kind of talent that could turn some heads this summer and pick up those elusive offers that he is definitely working hard to obtain.
Highlights
Davis burst onto the scene last year as a junior, leading the state in interceptions and placing himself on the map as an eventual college recruit but those offers have yet to arrive. The Bulldogs stud defensive back plays a clean, consistent brand of football, meaning he tends to always be around the ball due to his quick feet and technique sound play. He has the skill set to play a variety of roles in the secondary with his biggest upside sitting at nickel back and even possibly cover corner. Davis is a bit underrated at the moment but a strong showing during college camp season could certainly change the course of his recruitment.

This is one of the more underrated talents from the entire greater city of Memphis as Shaw could excel and develop at multiple positions within the college ranks. Sporting nice size with natural athletic abilities, Shaw is a fast, hard hitter at safety where his upside may be the best but he also has the physicality and speed to develop at running back as well. His versatility is what stands out the most when watching Shaw on film as I feel he could be utilized in a variety of ways. College coaches are beginning to pay attention to this West Tennessee athlete and I feel once they are able to see him work in person at camps, his recruitment will start to take off.

One of the best natural athletes coming out of the Memphis area for the #TN2024 class, Baker is a two-way talent that could develop at receiver or defensive back on the next level but currently sits under the radar as more development must be done. The Pharaohs athletic playmaker has nice size and length that would develop well at either receiver or defensive back along with the skill set to also become a strong contributor on special teams as well. He needs more time to work on his game as well as add more weight but the athletic abilities, speed and potential are there to become a college guy.
