is a great blocker that can be an inline tight end and an effective H-back for Briarcrest Christian High School. Good angles taken out in space, he shows nice body control and movement skills. Once engaged, Dabbs is physical at the point of attack with quality hand usage and torque to create displacement. In the passing game, he is reliable to catch the ball and be a safety blanket. Dabbs is tough to tackle out in space with his balance and play strength.

Having to miss his junior season due to injury, Dabbs was ready to get back on the field this Fall to prove his worth and so far, the Saints 6’6 tight end is doing just that. Committing recently to SE Missouri St., Dabbs has taken advantage of every snap so far this season by displaying his athleticism both with his pass catching and definitely with his enhanced blocking. This Memphis area senior has taken a major leap with his run blocking, showing physicality and bend along with the ability to drive his man down field. What’s exciting about Dabbs is that I see major pass catching upside with him to go along with his blocking. He has the athleticism, size and speed to become a mismatch problem for smaller defenders on the next level, so if he can continue to add more weight and develop his game further, the Red Hawks might have gotten themselves a steal at tight end. Keep an eye out for this Memphis tight end moving forward as Dabbs has the physical look and skill set to develop into an FCS or D1 caliber prospect. Missing most of his junior season due to injury, Dabbs is looking to make a name for himself this summer camp season in hopes of earning some big offers and he has the potential to achieve that. He has tremendous size (6’6 and long), a great frame for added weight and the athletic abilities to make receptions anywhere on the field. He needs to keep packing on the weight and developing his game but the upside is definitely there to compete on the next level.
