Cayden Dixon Cayden Dixon 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Briarcrest Christian | 2028 State TN is an intriguing 2028 quarterback prospect with solid size, arm talent, and mechanics who should take another step forward along his developmental arc at Briarcrest next season.

As a pocket passer, he has strong and repeatable mechanics that allows him to consistently stand in the pocket and fit passes into tight windows.

He is not necessarily a runner, but possesses very solid athleticism which allows him to be an effective scrambler as he steps up in the pocket.

He will have improved surroundings the next two seasons at Briarcrest and should take another large step forward as a junior.

Dixon was a guy we were happy to see yesterday. Dixon was able to show that he can complete passes with ease. He checked in at 6-foot and weighed in around 190 pounds. Dixon did not have any problems leading receivers yesterday. He was able to show that he is a 2028 quarterback who we all need to keep up with. Dixon is also a guy who has a nice throwing motion. He has the mechanics to be able to start picking up some division one offers. This young man can spin the rock.

Cayden Dixon Cayden Dixon 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Briarcrest Christian | 2028 State TN has been a very good Quarterback throughout his middle school career at Briarcrest Christian, but really started to separate himself from the pack over the last calendar year. Prep Redzone Next scouts got an opportunity to see him up close this past January at the Prep Redzone Next Middle School Camp in Murfreesboro, where he went on to become a 1st Team All-Camp selection. While still lacking ideal size and being the shortest of the three QBs selected, he’s now up to 5-foot-8 and muscular 160-pounds. Looking at the roster a bit more, Dixon is also 1 or 1A when it comes to the mobility of the three Quarterbacks selected. All-Star games are bound to have miscommunication and stakes, so having the ability to scramble may serve him well.

Dixon caught my attention with his quick release and ability to connect with receivers on both short throws and deep passes during quarterback positional drills. Another aspect of Dixon that caught my attention was his solid footwork and ability to flawlessly execute during warm-up drills.

Coming in at number five on my list of top prospects is Cayden Dixon Cayden Dixon 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Briarcrest Christian | 2028 State TN , a quarterback at Briarcrest Christian Middle School. In addition to solid arm strength, what impresses me about Dixon is his calculated passing and accuracy in the air. Dixon also stands out with his ability to target his receivers, hitting his receivers in stride despite solid coverage in the backfield.
