<h2>Manheim Township vs Cumberland Valley</h2>   Both Manheim Township and Cumberland Valley are coming off quality 2021 seasons and are returning quite a bit of talent in 2022. On Friday night, the two programs will clash at Cumberland Valley.   In terms of our ranked prospects heading into this matchup, it heavy on the offensive side of the ball. Manheim Township has an impressive 2024 trio with [player_tooltip player_id='222655' first='Hayden' last='Johnson'], [player_tooltip player_id='256168' first='Landon' last='Kennel'], and Asher Wolf while Cumberland Valley has quite a few offensive weapons themselves in [player_tooltip player_id='358299' first='Griffin' last='Huffman'], [player_tooltip player_id='91665' first='Isaac' last='Sines'], [player_tooltip player_id='377503' first='Caiden' last='Pines'], and [player_tooltip player_id='377506' first='Bryce' last='Staretz'].   Matchup to watch:   In terms of matchups to watch in this one; we'll be keeping a close eye on how [player_tooltip player_id='222655' first='Hayden' last='Johnson'] performs overall against a quality Cumberland Valley defense as well as how Cumberland Valley's top 2023 prospects [player_tooltip player_id='358299' first='Griffin' last='Huffman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='91665' first='Isaac' last='Sines'] perform. Both are intriguing prospects. Between the two programs, they hold 17 state titles.   This should be a good week one matchup, Southern Columbia isn't as talented as in years past but should be just as good while Berwick has some quality prospects of their own.   Matchup to watch:   In this game, we'll be paying close attention to how 2023 RB [player_tooltip player_id='160487' first='Braeden' last='Wisloski'] is able to perform against Berwick's quality fronts even headlined by 2023 LB [player_tooltip player_id='320980' first='Spencer' last='Kishbaugh']. Would love to see one-on-one matchups between them int his game. This will be a pretty tough matchup for Bloomsburg as Danville is one of the deepest teams in the state of Pennsylvania.   Returning a ton of talent this season, Danville should improve on their 8-5 mark from a season ago. Bloomsburg may only have two prospects in our rankings but they're not a program that should be overlooked either.   Key matchup to watch:   We'll be watching how Bloomsburg's defense is able to handle the Danville offense. Ty-Brown Stauffer and [player_tooltip player_id='122662' first='Carson' last='Persing'] are two great talents and 2025 RB [player_tooltip player_id='386288' first='Kory' last='King'] is a name to watch. The Panthers' issues last year weren't defensively but offensively, if their offense can take a step up in 2022, they'll have a chance to put together a nice season. But this will be a good test for their defense early on. This should be a great game overall, between two well-coached and talented teams.   Both these schools won 10 games last season and are among the best in their respective conferences. Both will be playing into late November and December this year. It's a good early-season matchup for both and as a non-conference matchup, whoever ends up losing this game will still have plenty of time left in the season to get past the loss and refocus on their ultimate goals.   Key matchup:   Mount Carmel's offensive line is one of their biggest strengths so I will be really intrigued to see how the Red Tornadoes handle North Schuylkill's trio of top defenders in [player_tooltip player_id='261343' first='Steven' last='Davis Jr'], Jaxon Dean, and [player_tooltip player_id='377384' first='Jaxson' last='Chowansky']. Both [player_tooltip player_id='27740' first='Matt' last='Kelley'] and [player_tooltip player_id='93048' first='Nick' last='Nestico'] are high-quality offensive linemen but this North Schuylkill front seven can beat you in a variety of ways.
