A top-250 player in the state, PRZ is very high on Fetterold including our lead man himself Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA . Here’s what Vic said last time he talked about Fetterolf this offseason.
“I might be repeating myself here, but I stand on Southern Columbia’s Dominic Fetterolf Dominic Fetterolf 6'1" | 215 lbs | LB Southern Columbia | 2025 State PA having one of the highest floors of any LB ranked outside of the Top Ten. What you see is what you get, it’s likely what transfers over when projecting him to the next level. Speaking to coaches in the know, the threshold/window for athletic growth might be passed the young man. Even if that’s the case, you’re still getting a dominant A/B gap plugger, one who registered over 130 tackles through 16 total games. Fetterolf will likely float around the Top100 for the remainder of his career at SC, he’s been a perennial name on these lists since he debuted as a freshman. Pursuit of the ball carrier is up there with the State’s best, you can see the moment he keys and diagnoses, a switch is hit and Fetterolf turns into a hunter, a better runner to the football than his build might suggest. Coaches will likely question if he can work pass coverage sets on defense, it’s a warranted question, not much is seen on tape outside of screen diagnosis. I’v heard phenomenal things about the young man’s intangibles on and off the field, heard of positive leadership qualities. We’ll see where Fetterolf ends up on our ranks after his senior tape.”
Fetterolf recently picked up an offer from Bloomsburg. Last year, he led Southern Columbia with 136 tackles including 4.0 tackles for loss.

One of the top linebackers in the state of Pennsylvania for the class of 2025. Feterrolf is a high-IQ player who has good athleticism. Working his way back from a knee-injury of his own, he should be good to go for this fall.

One of the top overall prospects at the Hamburg event, Dominic Fetterolf Dominic Fetterolf 6'1" | 215 lbs | LB Southern Columbia | 2025 State PA almost flew under the radar when speaking to some coaches. I was also unaware he was attending the event until after testing concluded. The top-five backer is still impressed when matched up with much faster RBs. Fetterold still managed to validate his status. Fetterolf is slowly working himself to full strength, working out at these events with a hefty knee brace. Said brace isn’t keeping the Southern Columbia star off the field, love his work ethic.

Dominic Fetterolf Dominic Fetterolf 6'1" | 215 lbs | LB Southern Columbia | 2025 State PA secured his all-state linebacker status as a freshman. It was a joy to watch a young player develop and soak in the knowledge around him. Special prospects learn from those around them, whether it be from the coaching staff or veteran teammates around him, you want to see freshmen engaged and focused. Fetterolf exemplified this. There aren’t too many linebacker tandems in Pennsylvania that can rival the duo of Fetterolf and Garcia. What’s exciting is projecting what Fetterolf might look like two-three years from now. Has the young man even filled his pads out yet? What’s the ceiling for his build? There’s a ton of intrigue surrounding the kid and it’s deserved. One thing’s for sure, he’s going to make his presence felt in the front seven.
