6’3, 215, 4.0 GPA, Southern Columbia. Multi-sport athlete with real versatility. Could play TE, OLB/DE, or even WR. Two-time state champion, understands winning football. Recently visited Temple, Villanova, and Lehigh. Basketball background shows in movement and coordination. Still a bit thin for TE but workable. System may limit offensive exposure. Coaches will have to project him. FCS-level athlete across the board. Flexibility is a plus. Development will dictate final position.

Jace Malakoski Jace Malakoski 6'3" | 215 lbs | TE Southern Columbia | 2027 State PA is an excellent tight end prospect. His ability to block and catch the ball from the tight end position is excellent. As a blocker, he does a great job of destroying edge defenders. In one-on-one blocks, he shows his strength and power. Then, as a pass catcher, he is special. He has excellent hands and catches the ball in between defenders at a high rate. He is then good after the catch by making defenders miss. Southern Columbia also puts him at wide receiver, and he makes good catches there as well. Malakoski might need to make a big pass play to help Southern Columbia pull out a State Title Game Victory.

Malakoski is a tight end we’re going to be keeping a close eye on going forward. He’s got very good size so far at 6-foot-3 and 205-pounds and is overall a quality athlete. While he only recorded a single reception last season, he saw quite a bit of time on the field for Southern Columbia, serving as a blocker. His blocking skills are quite good for a young tight end / wide receiver which should only help him going forward. Obviously, Southern Columbia doesn’t throw the ball a ton but as they showed in the past with a talent like Julian Fleming, they’ll find ways to get play makers the ball. It will be interesting to see Malakoski can develop a bigger role as an offensive weapon this fall. High upside for Malakoski overall.
