Zach Gordon Zach Gordon OL GA ‘s top receiving threat, Persing entered the season probably underrated and will be in deserving of a nice bump in our next update. Persing when thrown to was dynamite for Danville recording 737 yards on 36 catches thus far and 16 touchdowns. He’s averaging a tremendous 20.5 yards per reception as well. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound wide receiver lacks high end speed but his reliable hands and fluidness in his route running make him a stellar wide receiver. He could be a nice late pickup in the 2023 recruiting cycle for someone and ends up being a big steal.

The Danville program is seemingly in debt to this kid, as Persing recently came away with his 200th reception in his career, all catches for Danville. You can argue his value is second to none, even with Brown-Stauffer doing what he does. I am hardly surprised at his production when he sends me his tapes, college coaches shouldn’t be either. Persing contributes as a proficient to great special teams return man, as well as an excellent all-around pass-catcher who can help ease in young quarterbacks with his understanding of zone defenses. His awareness and experience show on tape, can’t say that for many.
