Rising Stars: Impact Linebackers in the 2028 Class

He is a classic inside linebacker who attacks downhill. His ability to find the ball and chase it down to make tackles is impressive. Then, when he meets ball carriers, he is a sure tackler who usually hits them hard. He also shows a good ability to drop in coverage and make plays on passes thrown his way. Langerston is a talented athlete who saw some time at tight end as well last year. As a linebacker, he is good at playing in space. He is a good outside linebacker who is good against the run and the pass. As a run defender, he is excellent at reading the play and making tackles in the open field. He also shows a good ability as a pass defender by dropping in coverage and taking away passing lanes. Then, as a tight end, he shows a good ability to catch the ball and make plays with his feet afterwards. He several times took short passes in the flat and turned them into much bigger gains. His ability to make tackles against the run in or near the line of scrimmage is excellent. He is also a sure tackle who rarely misses. He is a type of linebacker every defensive coordinator wants, as he can help slow down the run of the opposing team. Burrows also has great instincts, and he seems to always understand where the ball will be run, and he can then attack downhill to make tackles. Then he shows a good ability to chase plays all over the field. He also has good closing speed, as he uses it well to tackle ball carriers in the open field. Davis has outstanding skills as a linebacker. His ability to read and react to the play and attack upfield, is impressive. He reads and triggers plays at a high level. Then he shows a good ability to make tackles in the open field. The other area of strength is how good a blitzer he is. He knows how to use angles to put pressure on offenses and blitz. He also shows a good ability to chase plays sideline-to-sideline.
