Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase: All-Camp Team

MINNETONKA, MN-- Back to back Sundays of scouting football, it doesn't get any better than that. We brought our Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase Series back to where Prep Redzone all started, the great state of Minnesota. On a cold and snowy morning in Minnetonka at the Tonka Dome, we saw over 150 athletes coming from right up the road, three different states, and many miles driven across the cold countryside to show off their talents to Prep Redzone scouts, plenty of college coaches, and much more. We watched every prospect from some of the Midwest's best, to young men that are just starting their football journey in the high school ranks to hopefully at the end of their high school career, get an opportunity to play college football. I started my journey making circles across the Tonka Dome all Sunday morning, meeting with plenty of prospects, some I have watched plenty of times and others I was getting my first looks ever at. We love every minute of it, I have to say that, especially building our All-Camp teams in Fargo last week and now Minnetonka this week. How We Put Together our All-Camp Team When putting together our All-Camp Team, we as Prep Redzone scouts take very-detailed notes to make sure that we can see it all. Do I wish I could clone myself to watch every single kid at every showcase? Absolutely, but unfortunately that's not something we are able to do yet as we close out 2021. We took information gathered from coaches across our camp, and evaluated as many kids as we could on an "as watched" basis to make sure prospects across the Midwest are put on the map for every skillset they bring to the table. That is how we put together our All-Camp Team, as every young man on this list we got the opportunity to see a skillset that stuck out to us live and in-person. Of course, we are unfortunately going to miss kids, but I certainly felt I got as much dialogue as I could to make the best All-Camp Team we could make at the Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase. If I am a college coach at any level, I am looking at this list of 60+ kids extremely hard to evaluate where they might find a young man that is a great fit in their program, for sure! By The Numbers In total, we found just under 80 prospects to make our All-Camp Team. We broke it down with some position groups with a 1st team and other positions that were extremely loaded like running backs, we had to go to three teams because there was just so much talent to untap as well as some prospect standouts that we got brief looks of on Sunday, but are still prospects to know to keep on your radar.
