Lee, a 6′ Park of Cottage Grove safety and corner, threw a heckuva stiff-arm on the first play of his midseason tape and also made a very impressive 1-on-1 goal line tackle against Lakeville South. He also has a good rep of sticking his foot in the ground, flipping his hips open on the snap to zone-turn and play the WR, and picking the ball off downfield. He also doesn’t mind a high-speed tackle, which bodes well for his future as a potential safety.

Coach Fryklund’s comments – He is an athletic corner and safety who we can count on to grind out everything he can. We know he will bring the juice both in games and practices.
Film review – Lee has great run game instincts. When he reads run, he comes up aggressively from the deep safety position. He works well in the open field – breaking down and using solid tackling technique. He has the speed to get to running backs from sideline to sideline. The coaches trust his ability in the running game so much to bring him up near the line of scrimmage in certain situations. Lee also has excellent range when defending the pass. His speed, combined with his instincts, allows him to cover a ton of ground.
