One of the best backs in the Atlanta area regardless of class, Lindley was a tackle-breaking machine this year as a junior, rushing for an impressive 1,073 yards and 14 touchdowns through his first 10 games. He runs with aggression, behind his bads, and shows tremendous balance after initial contact. He’s hard to wrap up and shows deceptive speed for someone 200+ pounds. He’s a D1-caliber back and one of the most productive backs this season across the state in the 6A class. Lindley and Douglas County will take on a strong Mill Creek team in the first round.

Zamarcus Lindley Zamarcus Lindley 6'0" | 200 lbs | RB Douglas County | 2026 State GA is a powerful, downhill runner who has already rushed for over 500 yards this season. He is a between-the-tackles runner who is finding a way to create explosive plays, averaging nearly 9 YPC on the year. His ability to run through arm tackles and fall forward is what makes him so effective. His 6’0 200 frame gives him all the horsepower needed to handle a workload. He wouldn’t win a foot race against other productive RBs in the state, but he flashes enough explosiveness and change of direction to redirect his body and explode through openings. When he cuts, turf tosses up and he can create fly-by misses. He will drop his shoulder or throw a stiff arm to strongly finish his runs. Lindley is a tough, strong runner with enough burst to attack space at the D1 level.
