He has a strong arm which he uses to stretch the field in the deep passing game and zip passes into tight coverage. Egan also does a great job of going through his progressions and puts a nice amount of touch on his passes, putting them where only his receivers can get to it. He also showed tremendous dual-threat ability this season, running the ball 139 times for 979 yards and 17 touchdowns. His play in the 6A State Championship Game earned him MVP honors and I named him my 2022 Prep Redzone KY Offensive Player of the Year. Travis currently holds offers from Kentucky Wesleyan and Charleston (WV), and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way as he has the potential to be a very successful college quarterback.

Egan has a very strong arm, showing the ability to stretch the field in the deep passing game and zip passes into tight windows in the short/intermediate passing game. He also has very good ball placement, putting passes where only his receivers can get to them. Egan also showed very impressive dual threat ability during the playoffs, running the ball 69 times for 478 yards and six touchdowns. Egan’s play in the 6A State Championship Game helped earn him MVP honors. Travis currently holds offers from Charleston (WV) and Kentucky Wesleyan but I can see more coming his way as he has the talent to be a very successful college quarterback.

The top performance that stood out to me from this past week’s semifinal action came from Bullitt East quarterback Travis Egan Travis Egan 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Bullitt East | 2023 State KY . Egan led his team to hard fought 55-41 victory over Bryan Station, completing 19/28 passes for 249 yards and four touchdowns. He showed the ability to complete passes all over the field, hitting his receivers in stride out of their breaks. Egan also showed an impressive ability to make throws on the run. He also showed true dual-threat ability, running the ball 17 times for 74 yards and a touchdown. Egan holds an offer from Kentucky Wesleyan but I believe he deserves more to come his way as he has the potential to develop into a very good quarterback at the next level. He will have one more chance to prove himself as he will lead his team into a tough match up against Louisville Male for the 6A State Championship.

He uses his arm to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game and to zip the ball into tight windows in the short/intermediate passing game. Egan also puts a nice amount of touch on his passing, placing the ball where only his receiver can get to it. He also has shown the ability to tuck the ball and make big plays on the ground, finishing the regular season with 70 carries for 501 yards and eleven touchdowns. Travis currently holds one offer from Kentucky Wesleyan but I believe he deserves more attention from college programs as he has the talent to become a very productive starting quarterback at the next level.
