, a wide receiver at Bullitt East High School. Frakes has excellent speed off the snap as well as outstanding breakaway speed. I also like how Frakes can get wide open for the deep pass from along the edge, utilizing his strong footwork to juke out the defense. Frakes is a big-time prospect out of the Mount Washington area to know about now.

Frakes is the definition of a versatile offensive weapon, capable of lining up at wide receiver, running back, or taking direct snaps in the Wildcat package and making plays from anywhere on the field. Which is probably due to him being a member of the All-State Track Team. While he may not be the biggest athlete out there, he plays with the heart and toughness of a much larger player, showing the quickness and shiftiness of a classic scatback. Frakes is elusive in open space, difficult to square up, and consistently forces defenders to miss or fight for the tackle. What separates him even more is his fearless mentality. He’s not afraid to lower his shoulder and finish runs physically, running through contact to pick up those extra hard-earned yards. This will be Frake’s 3rd season with the Ky. Future Stars.

is back for another year with the Kentucky Future Stars. At this point, very undersized – yes, but he is not short on talent. He’s a quick-hitter on the outside who uses agility and foot speed to pick up plus yardage. Frakes was also named an Honorable Mention Regional Player of the Year, following the 2024 regular season.

Unlike some of the other 2030 prospects in this writeup, nothing about Frakes caught my eye right away. That was, until it was time to buckle up the chin straps and play ball. One of the smaller kids on the team–on the roster at 4-foot-11 and 100-pounds–he had several nice grabs in the quick-game on the outside. One of the Kentucky’s bread and butter plays with a simple quick pass to Frakes on the outside, who used his speed and agility to make a Tennessee defender miss and get vertical in short order.
