The 6-foot-3, 195-pound wide receiver/tight end is a strong pass catcher with great hands over the middle of the field. Tall, strong and with a big frame, he is a legitimate vertical threat who is quick to catch, tuck, turn and press the field vertically. Walsh has the potential to develop into a future star over the next three seasons and start landing on college radars sooner rather than later.

He proved to be a very reliable target in the passing game. Walsh is a skilled route runner, using sudden breaks in this routes to create separation. He also showed the ability to use his speed and strength as a ball carrier to pick up yards after the catch. Brayden finished his freshman year with six receptions for 77 yards in 12 games. Walsh is a player who I expect to gain a lot of attention as he continues to develop.

Walsh has put on nearly 40 pounds since this time a year ago and it shows. A long, field-stretching Tight End who very easily could play Wide Receiver as well. In fact, he’s honestly somewhere in between. Walsh knows how to go up and get the ball when it’s anywhere in his vicinity. Also a basketball player, many of the physical traits translate to the football field. His vertical, spacial awareness and hand eye coordination are all on another level from playing both sports.
