Every offseason, we learn about new players after they pick up offers from D1 programs. While it might seem like they came from out of nowhere, that’s typically not the case. Senior linebacker Tom Watts Tom Watts 6'2" Bishop McGuinness | 2025 OK is one of those players after earning an offer this offseason and immediately getting our attention with his size and production so far. Watts is a good-looking linebacker and has the ability to be a game-wrecker. And the Irish will be facing some offenses that have quite a bit of talent, specifically teams that like to run the ball. So having a tough linebacker like Watts will definitely be a benefit. And Watts is yet another linebacker in the state’s 2025 class to keep an eye on this fall.
