At this time last year, senior Aiden Monigold Aiden Monigold 6'4" | 220 lbs | ATH Bishop McGuinness | 2026 State OK was the new addition to the McGuinness defensive line. He moved up to Oklahoma City after becoming a standout for Lawton Eisenhower. He’s an incredibly disruptive player and he had a solid season for the Irish in 2024. Now, he’s looking to elevate his game even further and become an absolute force on the line of scrimmage. Monigold checks a lot of the boxes when it comes to being that pass rusher off the edge, causing chaos on the line. He has size, speed and his acceleration off the line is going to be a problem for opposing offensive linemen. In our opinion, he’s one of the more underrated 2026 prospects.

Lawton Eisenhower standout Aiden Monigold Aiden Monigold 6'4" | 220 lbs | ATH Bishop McGuinness | 2026 State OK is still listed as an athlete in this latest ranking update but we’re starting to lean more to the defensive side of the ball. Monigold’s physicality is something that jumps off the screen when watching him on film. Monigold also lines up on offense as a tight end but it’s his blocking that always stands out. Monigold is an absolute game-wrecker when he’s on the football field. We mentioned it over the summer and we’ll repeat it here. Lawton Eisenhower is not lacking talent in some of the younger classes. They have guys that will play at the next level. Monigold is certainly in that conversation. While we’re leaning to the defensive side of the ball, we’re not going to count out him being an offensive prospect at some point.

Lawton Eisenhower is not lacking talent as they head into the 2023 football season. Specifically in some of the younger classes because they have already shown that they have some dudes that are coming up. We wrote about their 2026 potential star Aiden Monigold Aiden Monigold 6'4" | 220 lbs | ATH Bishop McGuinness | 2026 State OK earlier this year during our last ranking update. At the time, we didn’t have a lean on him whether we liked him more as a tight end or on defense as a game-wrecking defensive end. And as we mentioned at the top, the book isn’t done being written. He could continue to grow and that answer will certainly follow. But Monigold’s freshman film was very impressive to watch and we’re looking forward to seeing what he does for an encore this season. And with some of the talent that Lawton Ike has in the various classes, we want to see them in person at some point this fall.

We start off the list with a potential two-way monster growing down at Lawton Eisenhower. Freshman tight end and defensive end Aiden Monigold Aiden Monigold 6'4" | 220 lbs | ATH Bishop McGuinness | 2026 State OK is very impressive to watch on film and he’s definitely on the short list for 2026 prospects that we want to see in person as soon as possible. Because based on his film, Monigold looks the part and definitely doesn’t look like a freshman as we’re writing this today. And normally when we have a prospect that plays on both sides of the ball, we normally have a lean to one side or the other. Not with Monigold. At tight end, we can see him growing into a massive threat in the passing game. And as a defensive end, we could see him terrorizing quarterbacks for the next three years. If Monigold continues to grow in terms of height, he will turn into one of the top overall guys in this class.
