This is an awesome chance to add a serious impact player in the defensive trenches. Terrell has the size and mass needed to win at the next level. The 6’5″ 275 lbs senior does well at using his length to maintain separation from OL and also does a great job of using his hands to disengage and get after the all. Despite the sheer size of McRae, the senior brings athleticism to the trenches as he is able to slide laterally to avoid blocks or move from gap to gap to meet the ball for the tackle. The senior also brings the strength needed to control the line of scrimmage and not surrender any ground against the run game. Check out one of the top available defensive players.

Stats: 11 Tackles, 1 Sack, 6 TFLs
On the interior of the defensive line was Terrell McRae. The senior was looking long and lean. I’m not sure what he is weighing these days, but it is very clear that the senior has the frame to add a ton of size in a college weight room. Friday night the senior IDL was all over the trenches. He was very stout, not giving up any ground vs the Oconomowoc OL. That made it very hard for the Ocon. running game to get into a rhythm. Terrell’s strength also flashes in his hands as he was able to swipe away OL to disengage and make tackles. Lastly, I was so impressed at how often the senior was in the backfield making plays. He is a difference maker with mismatch potential in the interior. Don’t miss out on this senior DL.

One of the best 2025s in attendance was Racine Case DL Terrell McRae. Terrell has a great frame to continue to build on. He checked in at 6’3″ 287 lbs and he carries it on an athletic frame. A frame that has the size and power up top, and athletic below the waist. I spent a lot of time with the trench guys during 1 on 1s and that is where Terrell made his presence felt. It is also what earned him a spot in the best vs best reps to end the session.
Against the OL, Terrell dominated with his playing strength and stoutness. He quickly overpowered the IOL by getting his hands inside, getting leverage, and driving them into the backfield. What we saw live matches the tape that shows him ability to control the line of scrimmage or get penetration with strength. The junior flashed some rip moves too and agility to get around the OL off those moves. McRae is definitely a DL to know in the Class of 2025.

. He is also knocking on the door of the Top 10 at his position. Terrell has the length and size needed to hang on the interior of the trenches. His frame looks to have room to continue to add strength as he gets in to a college weight room. On tape, we see the big man flash impressive traits. The strength to hold the line shows up play to play. He is able to take on blocks and uses his length to create separation so he can disengage with a hand fighting move or flash the lateral agility. McRae is quick to feel the flow of the OL and will fight across blocks to get to the gap that the RB is aiming for. We also see that Terrell can play with leverage and get that big frame underneath his opponent. That excites me because I think he can play with that low pad level even more consistently, and that is only going to make him more dominant. This Racine Case is looking like a talented bunch over the next couple years. Get out there and check out the DL and his teammates.
