Racine Case had to use several QBs in 2025, including

. Fast forward to today and the other QBs that he competed with are graduating, leaving the door open for him to step in and take the job for himself. The sophomore has the talent to get the job done, especially after a full offseason so that he can further grasp the playbook. Jayson will stand in the pocket and fire the ball around the field, and he will also break the back of the defense if they turn their backs to him because he can scramble effectively. I’m confident we will see a big step forward from Jayson. Keep an eye on him as he works towards his junior season.

This kid is just starting to scratch the surface. He transferred to Racine Case as fall camp was kicking off and was still able to earn several varsity starts this past season. Seeing him on the list of attendees had me excited to see where he was at as a passer. Jayson is heading in the right direction. Athletic, developing a quick release, and his arm is getting stronger. During 1 on 1s he made multiple throws that beat DBs with touch and with accuracy. He did well to anticipate where the receiver would be and timing when to let it fly. Jayson is going to be in a much better position heading into the 2026 season, but before then the 2028 is locked in and ready to work on his game and further strengthen his grasp of his offense.

The time is about here to watch Jayson take over at the helm for what has been one of the most productive offenses in WI. MAS piles up the yardage and that is in big part because of the past QB. That massive workload looks like it will be turned over to Jayson. The 2028 has the tools with accuracy that has been flashing all over this summer 7v7 games. As has his ability to fire the ball into tight spots in the short to intermediate levels of the field. But Friday nights are different, so I’m excited to see Jayson step up to this challenge.

. The job is wide open for him to win and step into. A job that comes with a lot of pass attempts recently, like the 250+ in 2024. Looking through his 7v7 highlights, Jayson is looking like a kid ready for Friday nights. He is decisive, accurate, and has impressive touch all over the field. The ’28 plays with very consistent mechanics too that not doubt help with his accuracy as well as help him always be ready and able to get the ball out quickly.

Jayson was an unexpected inclusion in this article if you would have asked me to write it a couple weeks ago. Back then it looked like he would be learning behind ’26

in position to win the varsity job.
If the job is his, Jayson will be ready. The 5’11” 170 lbs ’28 has a live arm. He showed it off during our December Showcase, earning a spot as a top performer among the group. In 2024, Jayson carved up lower level defenses with quick decisions, accuracy, and some timely scrambles/designed runs. This will be a kid to keep an eye on this fall.

Jayson just hit my radar during the Showcase, and I have quickly become a fan of his skill set. The 5’11” 160 lbs freshman is a natural passer. Clean mechanics, his entire body works together from his feet to his hips to his shoulders to the release of the ball. The freshman has a smooth, over the top throwing motion with a quick release that gets the ball out quick. I was also surprised at the velocity that the freshman was able to put on the ball while not being the biggest athlete, yet. I had to go check out some of his game highlights and was again impressed. The 2028 is poised in the pocket and a quick decision maker. I’m very excited to watch him grow and see that arm get even stronger.
