. That could net him a big return in 2026 as he looks to be in line for a significant role at WR for the Eagles. Don’t be surprised to see the breakout season unfold for the 2028. He has size, deep speed, and the ability to use his size and basketball background to always be able to create enough space to reel in passes or go take them off the top shelf. Charlie has been putting in work in the offseason, so he is going to be back bigger and better than ever as he looks to produce a junior season breakout campaign.
This won’t be easy for Charlie to have that outstanding breakout year, but I won’t write him off either. The 6’4″ 170 lbs multi-sport standout is putting in the work in the weight room while still contributing in a big way on his winter sport. That has me excited for what Charlie could look like on the field this fall. He will have talent around him to compete with, but I can very easily see the 2028 WR find a role in the redzone or in any situation where you can put him in a spot to be 1 on 1 in a 50/50 jump ball scenario. He has tools that make him a mismatch and we could see that be utilized more starting this fall. Keep an eye on him.
I was excited to see Charlie on the list of attendees for the Showcase. The 2028 is a standout on the basketball court and starting to establish himself on the gridiron too. He has a budding frame at 6’4″ 170 lbs, 10″ hands, ran a 5.09 40, 4.32 shuttle, and a 6.87 L-Drill. That basketball background shines going up against DBs. He attacks the ball like a rebound, boxing out the DB and using that elite length to easily make the catch while keeping the defender at bay. The sophomore is another special recruit with a long frame that has learned how to move fluidly and efficiently. Get him on your boards and keep an eye on how he continues to grow.
