Bode has left no doubt about his abilities after a sophomore season where he led Mondovi to an 11-2 record while putting up 2,035 passing yards, 1,270 rushing yards and 40 total TDs on offense. Unbelievable numbers for an underclassman QB. Bode is obviously a very talented athlete. Game breaking speed and the elusive agility to create big plays out of nothing. Add in an arm that can fire the ball all over the field at a 60% completion percentage rate and you get a field general ready to push his team towards being a State qualifying type of team. If you want to see some elite firepower on offense then Mondovi is a great option.

Another 2028 QB who had his breakout in 2025 is the Catholic Memorial gunslinger. As a sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1287562' first='Dalton' last='Steinke'] put up 2,067 passing yards and 30 TDs through the air. In his first year as a starter Dalton proved to be a very aggressive passer. He trusts his arm strength and accuracy to attack the deep third of the field and also trusts the weapons he targets. The inexperienced QB proved to have very good poise within the pocket and the maneuverability to avoid free rushers. Dalton returns his RB1 and his top three go to targets from 2025, so get your popcorn ready for a monster junior season out of Steinke.

This kid is lightning in a bottle on Friday nights! Bryson broke onto the scene in 2025 with a great sophomore season. The rising 2028 RB fits the role he plays for Muskego. He is an athlete who can hit the hole at top speed and is a slippery athlete who can break through arm tackles and attack small slivers of daylight. The speed to go the distance is in his bag too. He can win with quickness in tight quarters or long speed to beat angles. Bryson also showed really good patience and vision for an underclassman RB. I can't wait to see what he does in his first year as an upperclassmen for Muskego. Get your popcorn ready for a show this fall!

What a year it was for Brody in 2025. As a sophomore he earned 1st Team All Conference WR honors in the top conference in WI. He finished with 35/442/2 in 9 games on the season with his 35 catches leading the conference. Turn on the tape and you see a WR who always finds a way to create separation or sniff out soft spots. His speed and route running are keys to his success in the framework of the play, but you also see that he can find soft spots when plays breakdown and you need to start going off script. Plus on the few clips where he doesn't create space the 2028 WR has proven he can go up and get the ball and fight for it while being tightly covered. I'm excepting exciting things from the rising 2028 WR this fall!

This is going to be a fun athlete to follow this fall! Jovanni had a breakout season in 2025 with his play at LB where he collected 41 tackles, 8 TFLs, 2 sacks, 3 FFs, and 5 FRs. That already had me locked in for an even bigger impact this fall, but now I'm even more intrigued because the 2028 ATH is set to become the team's QB1 as well. On defense Jovanni is all over the front seven. The LB is violently explosive and quick through traffic on his way to delivering some hard hits on ball carriers. He also brings a great base of athleticism that allowed him to make impact plays as an RB and WR. So with him at QB I'm excited to see him make an impact as a dual threat. He is such a natural athlete that I won't be surprised to see Jovanni step up and be an effective passer for the offense either. Get your popcorn and snacks ready for a show when Gonzalez leads the St. Cat's offense and defense out onto the field.

In the final regular season game of the season I was wishing I had popcorn on the sideline so I could sit back and watch the show that Keonte was putting on. The S/RB might be undersized, but that doesn't stop him from being a fearless presence on the field. The kid plays safety like a heat-seeking missile. Wherever the ball is you will find Thigpen screaming downhill to deliver a surprising hit. His instincts are strong for the safety position. On offense that same speed and physicality shine. His low center of gravity allows him to run hard and gain tough yards that you don't expect from a 5'8" 170 lbs back. This kid has the goods to be a weekly impact player. He is a must watch 2028!

We have seen plenty of movement among the Racine schools, but one athlete who hasn't transferred is 2028 WR [player_tooltip player_id='1955155' first='Charlie' last='Kwapil']. That could net him a big return in 2026 as he looks to be in line for a significant role at WR for the Eagles. Don't be surprised to see the breakout season unfold for the 2028. He has size, deep speed, and the ability to use his size and basketball background to always be able to create enough space to reel in passes or go take them off the top shelf. Charlie has been putting in work in the offseason, so he is going to be back bigger and better than ever as he looks to produce a junior season breakout campaign.

We end with an 8 man standout who is going to put on a show this season. I have a high level of confidence because Thorp's [player_tooltip player_id='2248825' first='Cooper' last='Rosemeyer'] was already putting on a show this summer for our scouts. Cooper is filling out his 6'4" frame and looking every bit the part of a college TE with two years of high school still to play. He is a very smooth athlete who can use just his route running to create space. Plus his frame also gives him a mismatch in any 50/50 ball scenarios. After the catch he flashes not just speed, but power and physicality to punish defenders. Cooper is looking the part and I expect him to be among the very best TEs in the Class of 2028. Don't sleep on the 8 man product!
