Mark Johnson | Prep Redzone Scout
Bryson should have a great summer. A lot of his game revolves around how fast and quick he is with the football in his hands. We had him out at a Prep Redzone WI camp and the sophomore left with RB MVP. Bryson dominates on Friday nights and his strengths should be perfectly highlighted by a camp/combine setting this summer. Settings where he can get updated combine numbers and then show how he can attack LBs 1 on 1 on the ground and as a receiving threat. The ’28 is coming off a great sophomore varsity season and that should roll into a solid summer for himself. Keep an eye out for him.

. Bryson finished the season as the team’s leading rusher. Bryson torched defenses between the tackles. He is so explosive, quickly getting through gaps and getting to top speed by the time he hits the 2nd level. That put a lot of stress on the front seven because if they were a step out of position Bryson had the vision and speed to turn those seams into huge gains. No doubt about it, Bryson has that innate ability to make something out of nothing and threatens to turn any touch into a game-changing play. Big things ahead for the sophomore RB.

Bryson is coming off a great season at Muskego where he was the team’s leading rusher with 1,051 yards and 9 TDs. The 2028 RB carried that momentum into the offseason. Looking through my list of attendees pre-showcase Bryson was one of the kids I circled, and he proved that it was for good reason on Sunday. Bryson is extremely explosive. Whether it was 1 on 1 in space vs an LB or going through the L-Drill, Bryson plays with exceptional burst, acceleration, and balance. Watching his L-Drill it looked like his body was 6″ from the ground the entire time. The rising 2028 knows how to turn that explosive, twitchy athleticism into elusiveness on the field too. He had LBs reaching for empty air on a few 1 on 1 reps, and his ability as a receiver was the finishing touch to an MVP performance. Bryson’s skill set made him a dominant receiver vs LBs quickly getting open and making natural hands catches. Start to finish it was a great effort from Bryson.
