Stat Line: 23 Tackles, 2 TFLs

In the biggest regular season game of the year senior safety Taylen Czarniak Taylen Czarniak 6'2" | 195 lbs | DB/ATH Muskego | 2027 State WI showed up big time. He put up one of the highest single game tackle totals we have seen through seven weeks. That is only partially as impressive as the actual tape is. The 6’2″ 195 lbs senior absolutely hammers ball carriers when he tackles. He is a punishing defender who does an elite job of running through the man. Taylen’s impact against the run game was outstanding. He showed off the range to go from safety to the line of scrimmage where he would meet the RB and deliver one of those devastating hits. Czarniak’s knack for being a playmaker jumps off the screen too. A lot of times we see safeties as that last line of defense. Taylen takes things into his own hands and goes on the attack, ending plays as they barely develop. This is a great combination of size, physicality, instincts and athleticism that coaches need to prioritize going forward. Dive into the highlights below!

Another defender that teams will have to locate this season is Muskego safety Taylor Czarniak. The 6’2″ 195 lbs ’27 has an elite build for the position and that size comes equipped with the physical dominance needed to play safety at a high level. Taylen is proving to be a legitimate three level player. One you can trust to read and close downhill vs the run game with his hair on fire and make tackles. He can also cover ground on the back end and be trusted as a single high safety with his range and ball skills. The big safety is a player that QBs need to locate pre-snap. Check him out.

It looks like the next standout DB to come out of Muskego is going to be Taylen Czarniak Taylen Czarniak 6'2" | 195 lbs | DB/ATH Muskego | 2027 State WI . He already looked the part in 2024, flying around at 6’1″ 185 lbs and making plays at every level of the field. Even as an underclassman you could see the instincts were there. He was quick to diagnose plays and knew when to attack the ball and when to stay back in that last line of defense position. When Taylen did go on the attack I loved the way he closes quickly, avoids traffic, and is a reliable 1 on 1 tackler in space. Taylen is a safety that can line up 15 yards deep and make tackles within a yard or two of the line of scrimmage. He can also turn and run to either sideline while tracking the ball in the air. This is his year to take that big leap forward. Be prepared for it.
