Muskego’s Joey Shaw Joey Shaw 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Muskego | 2027 State WI is a very interesting developmental recruit. He has less passing experience than a lot of the rest of the athletes on his list because of the offense he leads, but the raw tools can’t be overlooked. Joey’s top trait is his elite athleticism. The highlights so several clips of how agile, explosive and elusive he can be in traffic. His natural athleticism and balance also open the door to him being able to get the ball out on the move and from some wild arm and body angles. That natural arm talent shines in those scenarios because of how accurate Joey is still able to be. This summer is going to be huge for Joey as he gets several chances to throw in front of college coaches and give them an updated look of where he is at.

Joey makes his debut in the rankings inside the Top 10 for the QB position. I watched him live in Week 1 as a sophomore. The jump from then to his junior highlights looks like a completely different player. Joey is bigger, much more experienced, and the game seems to have slowed down for him because he is processing things quicker. Muskego’s offense gets Joey on the move a ton in their passing game. That fits the super mobile junior’s game. His elusive, quick twitch agility is a nightmare to try and keep in the pocket. His accuracy while on the move, or off platform, or while falling away also jumps off the tape throw after throw. The 2027 is also a talented baseball player. Experienced, athletic, and a legitimate gamer. Check him out.

Stats: 10/14, 186 Yards, 1 TD, 15 Rush Yards
The junior QB out of Muskego was carving things up in Level 2. The first takeaway is the pinpoint accuracy. Watching him slip it just past an LB’s earhole or dropping it into a bucket of the shoulder of his WR has me very excited for his potential and future. Joey is such an impactful athlete. His Level 2 highlights showcase how well he can get the ball away while on the move. His legs are such a weapon to create big plays, especially when he uses them to buy time within the pocket. The junior is already an experienced QB with a State Championship appearance under his belt. Coaches, dive into this quickly rising QB.

A QB that is in position for a breakout year is Muskego’s Joey Shaw Joey Shaw 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Muskego | 2027 State WI . Muskego graduated their 2023 starter, so the door is open for the 2027 to take over the helm for the coming years. While the 6′ 175 lbs frame isn’t prototypical, it doesn’t hamper Joey. Joey is an athletic dual threat QB who is very effective at not just running, but also running to throw. Using his legs to buy time for his weapons to get open. The ’27 is very impressive when throwing on the run. The accuracy is there and he is still able to drive the ball on a rope. To go along with the passing requirements, Muskego’s offense requires their QBs to be effective ball handlers and quick decision makers. If he can do that well, then we are in store for some impressive performances from the 2027 QB.
