It was a great varsity debut for the sophomore OG Alontae Morris Alontae Morris 6'0" | 280 lbs | OL Racine Case | 2027 State WI . The 6′ 280 lbs athlete is showing the tools of an impressive guard recruit. He has the anchor strength to stuff bull rushers and provide a safe pocket. In the run game where he really shined in Week 1, though. Alontae is fiery out of his stance. He gets into his man quickly, gets hand position, and shows that his lower body has the necessary strength to move men along with its quickness. Morris has range to attack level two quickly off the snap and also win positioning in those situations to cut off LBs. The sophomore has made an impressive jump in his development this offseason. Give this film a look.

Freshman Alontae Morris Alontae Morris 6'0" | 280 lbs | OL Racine Case | 2027 State WI is a gifted offensive lineman to keep an eye on over the coming years. He measured in at 5’10” 281 lbs and has years ahead of him to continue to grow and develop his overall frame. What you can’t teach is the tools he demonstrated in 1 on 1s. Alontae showed off a twitchy quick set that got him to a powerful, square position and allowed him to engage with leverage. His initial punch was also quick and accurate. Alontae also proved to have that dancing bear type of footwork. He made it look easy changing direction while engaged at 280+ lbs. Morris has the reactive athleticism needed to win on the interior. I’m excited for his career and development to unfold.
