Expert Analysis
Mark Johnson | Prep Redzone Scout
Next up we go back to Racine Case for RB Brydan Jennings. The freshman is now up to 5’10” 185 lbs and showing early signs of being a very well rounded back. In Week 1 he checked a lot of boxes. Brydan is quick, agile, and has a burst of acceleration to turn small seams of daylight into big plays. He balances that with contact balance and power. Jennings runs angry and doesn’t shy away from contact. The freshman RB does really well running his feet through contact and already is running through arm tackles. His vision behind the line is well developed already too. There is a lot to like about the quickly developing tools from the freshman RB. Get this kid on your boards early, coaches.

Jennings could’ve easily been MVP at two different positions. His ability to execute in linebacker agility and indy drills set him apart, but the way he carries the football with points of pressure technique and low pad level looked incredibly natural. His build is that of a power back. He checked in at 5090 189, tested at 5.34×40, 4.53 pro shuttle, 7.46 cone, 8’2 broad. Lots of size and thickness in the delts, arms, trunk, hams and calves. He bursts off the plant foot and gets upfield with aggressiveness. In one on one passing drills, Jennings displayed natural ball skills, soft hands, good short game routes.
