Cooks ran for 657 yards on 68 carries with 9 touchdowns last season for Sierra Canyon. He caught 22 passes for 292 yards with a pair of touchdowns.

He was previously committed to San Diego State but re-opened his recruitment in October.

The Trailblazers ran for 329 yards on 42 carries with four touchdowns in the win.

Cooks led the pack with 152 yards on 15 carries with a touchdown. He is one of the top junior running backs in the state.
