is a 2026 prospect that we had circled coming into the 2024 season. Duncan took that next step and became an All State-caliber defensive back. Duncan will be going into his third season as a starter in the Mustang defense. And if there’s one area where the Broncos are lacking that experience, it could be in the secondary. Duncan earned a starting role late in the 2023 season and he carried that momentum into the 2024 football season. This offseason, Duncan has emerged as a legitimate D1 prospect, earning his first offer and that could just continue into the fall. We really like the athleticism and talent that Duncan plays with.

really came into his own last season. Duncan emerged as a starter for the Broncos late in his sophomore season and then took a big step forward as a prospect last season. Now, he’s getting ready for his third season as a starter and when you look at the Mustang defense on paper, specifically in the secondary, you see a group that could be pretty special this season. Duncan emerged as a legitimate D1 prospect and in the last week, he gave his commitment to Army. Duncan checks just about every box from a physicality standpoint and he was incredibly productive last season as a junior. Now, he looks to be the leader of a very talented secondary and when you’re talking about Class 6A-1, you’re talking about some of the best offenses in the state. So it’ll be fun to watch how Duncan and company combat them.

is a good example of a player that got a ton of playing time in 2023 because of an injury to an original starter. While it might have hurt the 2023 Broncos to lose their starter, it’s certainly going to help the 2024 Broncos that Duncan has a handful of starts under his belt as he goes into his junior season this fall. The Mustang coaches are very excited about his potential because he’s a very athletic player that has a high on-field IQ that allows him to play with great instincts. When you combine his athleticism and speed with that IQ and instincts, you have a player that is primed for a monster breakout season in 2024.
