Kason Delgado Kason Delgado 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB/ATH Mustang | 2027 State OK continues to be one of the better quarterback prospects in this class but you can’t talk about Delgado without talking about his uncommon path to where we are today. Delgado is at Mustang and he could end up being QB1 for the Broncos this fall. Mustang is his fifth school since his freshman season so building consistency with teammates has obviously been a challenge. But look at the production on the field. He started as a freshman at Union when the original starter got hurt. He started for Edmond Santa Fe as a sophomore and Muskogee as a junior. During those sophomore and junior seasons, Delgado was incredibly productive and put up some strong numbers. Now, he’s looking to win the QB1 job at Mustang and if he does, he could have his best season this fall. The Broncos have some serious weapons at the skill positions that could set him up for success.

Junior quarterback Kason Delgado Kason Delgado 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB/ATH Mustang | 2027 State OK has had quite the high school career so far. He spent his freshman year at Union, starting in several games because of injury to the original starter. He started for Edmond Santa Fe last year until he had a season-ending injury. He started this year at Broken Arrow before moving to Muskogee following spring ball. Delgado appears that he’ll be the guy at QB1 for the Roughers when they take the field this fall. He certainly has the ability but we’re looking forward to seeing him play a full season at full strength. And when you look up and down this Muskogee roster, there is no doubt that Delgado will benefit from the firepower at wide receiver.

Kason Delgado Kason Delgado 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB/ATH Mustang | 2027 State OK was the first quarterback in the state’s 2027 class that had our attention and he’s certainly been no stranger to the headlines in his first two years. Delgado started for Union in the second half of the 2023 regular season. He would then move back to the Edmond area and started for Edmond Santa Fe in 2024 before injuries finally caught up to him and sidelined him for the year. Earlier this offseason, Delgado moved back to the Tulsa area and landed in Broken Arrow. The three teams in three years can grab a lot of headlines but when it comes to Delgado as a prospect, he’s one of the better guys at the position. He’s been battle-tested against the toughest competition and he’s continuing to get better. Delgado has also improved this offseason and we have a feeling that Broken Arrow is primed for a monster bounce back season this fall with Delgado leading the way.

It’s obviously been a tough season for Edmond Santa Fe but quarterback Kason Delgado Kason Delgado 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB/ATH Mustang | 2027 State OK has continued to grow as an overall quarterback. And when we look at Delgado moving forward, we think that he’s going to have a good opportunity to use the first two years of his varsity career as fuel. After getting thrown to the fire because of an injury last year at Union, Delgado would respond. This year, Santa Fe has struggled on the scoreboard but Delgado is responding to the challenge. But we’ve watched a lot of Delgado over the last 18 months and there’s definitely a lot of talent there. And Delgado is also on the radars of college coaches, earning interest and offers already.

After spending his freshman year at Union, quarterback Kason Delgado Kason Delgado 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB/ATH Mustang | 2027 State OK is now at Edmond Santa Fe and all signs point towards him earning the starting role when the Wolves take the field this season. Delgado actually played against Santa Fe last season when he was Union’s starter for the second half of the season. That starting experience gives the Wolves a quarterback that is incredibly talented but is also not a stranger when it comes to facing 6A-1 competition. And having a talented passer like Delgado in the backfield could open up things even more for Robinson and the running game. Delgado is arguably the state’s top quarterback in the 2027 class.

Union quarterback Kason Delgado Kason Delgado 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB/ATH Mustang | 2027 State OK is the only quarterback in the top ten rankings this time around. Delgado came into his freshman season at Union with some hype but he was also backing up one of the state’s top 2025 quarterbacks. However, halfway through the regular season, Delgado was thrusted into the starting lineup after an injury and he did not shy away from the competition. He had a solid stretch as QB1 for the Redhawks and carried that momentum into this offseason with his performances on the 7v7 circuit and most recently with the camp circuit. Delgado is very clearly a name to know at the quarterback position.

This was the fourth consecutive weekend that we’ve seen Union 2027 quarterback Kason Delgado Kason Delgado 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB/ATH Mustang | 2027 State OK in person and we’re running out of ways to say that he’s good. Three of those weekends came in 7v7 tournaments and last week we watched him at the Under Armour camp in Dallas. And every time we’ve seen him in the last month, he’s impressed us. This weekend in particular, Delgado was navigating windy conditions throughout the day on Sunday and it wasn’t a problem. Earlier this month, Delgado picked up his first D1 offer and it won’t be the last. He got his first taste of varsity football last fall and continues to improve his game every time we see him in person.

There were not many 2027 prospects in attendance on Sunday but Union quarterback Kason Delgado Kason Delgado 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB/ATH Mustang | 2027 State OK was one of them. Delgado didn’t look like a freshman that was out of his element on Sunday and that was the thing that impressed us the most. He was in a group that featured plenty of quarterbacks that have D1 offers and Delgado looked like he belonged. The Union freshman signal caller is going to be a name to watch moving forward. We already got our first look at him during the second half of the regular season and he is having a terrific start to the offseason. He has shined in 7v7 tournaments and then again at the UA camp.
