PJ has been having a great season in 2023. He plays as a MLB. Against the pass, he shows good patience while in coverage as he reads the QB while covering the middle of the field. He shows good hands as he makes the interception and exhibits very good play speed as he returns the interception for a TD. Against the run, he quickly reads run/pass and uses his good combination of physical toughness and athleticism to penetrate the LOS quickly. He takes good angles in pursuit before making the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL.

This season, PJ helped the Princeton Vikings to a 9-win season, advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs and held opposing offenses to 12.75 points per game. He plays as a MLB. Against the run, he quickly penetrates the LOS and uses his good play strength to make the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL. Against the pass, he reads the eyes of the QB and shows excellent range in pursuit of the WR. He displays good closing speed and delivers a powerful hit to the WR preventing a gain of significant yardage.
