is a starting wid receiver for Taft High School. I’ve had my eye on McMullen for awhile, especially since Taft’s college day last spring. McMullen is a big and fast wide receiver who can high-point the ball, win one-on-one battles and has great speed. McMullen is a top prospect in Ohio with 18 offers; I wouldn’t be shocked if he reaches the 40-offer mark this winter.

for Taft is putting together a strong sophomore campaign. At 6-foot-2, 170-pounds, he has great size and speed for the position. McMullen has great adjustment to the ball and strong hands in traffic, and is sneaky good at getting open against tight coverage. McMullen bumped up two spots from No. 4 to No. 2.
McMullen is an explosive athlete. Half of his receptions in his freshman season went for touchdowns. He’s quick to get out of his release, and can get vertical quickly. He moves fluidly and can separate well. Lorenzo has already found interest from P4 programs. If you find yourself at a Taft game this season, watch out for McMullen.
McMullen already has grown man size as a freshman and played like one for Taft this past season. On 36 receptions, McMullen tallied 18 touchdowns and offered Taft the big play ability. He has great long end speed and separates well down the field. One of my favorite aspects of Lorenzo’s game is that he gets off the line quick. He can release outside and get up to speed quick and finds open space with good footwork when breaking into the middle of the field. Its early, but I think McMullen is someone you’ll need to know if you are a fan of a P4 program.
